Certificate in Laboratory Techniques (Part Time) From IGNOU, New Delhi

IGNOU CPLT admission 2024 for the January session has been started from December 15, 2023. The last date to apply is March 20, 2024. IGNOU offers a Certificate Program in Laboratory Techniques (CPLT) for a duration of 6 years. The maximum duration to complete the courses can be extended up to 2 years. Admissions to the program are done on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination. In order to be eligible for admission, candidates must have completed 10+2 with at least 50% marks in aggregate. Check IGNOU Admission Status

IGNOU Certificate Program in Laboratory Techniques Eligibility

• Students should have passed in 10+2 with science subjects or equivalent, or
• Should have passed in higher secondary with science subjects or equivalent, and one year of experience of working in a School/ College/ University Science laboratory, or                    
• Should have passed 10th or equivalent with science subjects, and two years of experience of working in a School/ College/ University Science laboratory.

Admission to the IGNOU CPLT program is offered on the basis of scores achieved by a student in the relevant 10+2 examination, and on the basis of the eligibility criteria.

IGNOU CPLT Assignments

Assignments constitute continuous evaluation. The marks that you secure in the assignments will be counted in your final result. As mentioned earlier, an assignment of a course carries 30% weightage. You are therefore advised to take your assignment seriously. 

Non Submission of Assignment

The TMA for each semester can be downloaded from the Student Zone of the University website. You have to complete the assignment within the due dates specified in the assignment booklet. You will not be allowed to appear for the term-end examination for any course if you do not submit the assignment in time for that course. If you appear in the term-end examination, without submitting the assignments, the result of the term-end examination is liable to be canceled.
