SPA Delhi Course Admission 2024: Courses, Fees, Eligibility, Criteria

School of Planning and Architecture Delhi offers a five years' full-time B.Arch course under undergraduate education programs. The course students' capacity is 122. The B.Arch course at SPA Delhi is approved by the Council of Architecture. 

Eligibility 

• For applying to the B.Arch program at SPA Delhi, candidates must have obtained at least 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 or equivalent examinations.   
• Candidates must have Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as the main subjects in 10+2 examinations. 
• Candidates who have qualified 10+3 Diploma course with Mathematics as the main subject are eligible to apply for the B.Arch program. 
• He/she must have obtained at least 50% in a Diploma course. 
• For admission to SPA Delhi B.Arch, candidates must have applied for JEE Main examination. 
• Candidates must have appeared in JEE Main exams. 

Selection Criteria 

The admission to B.Arch programs will be based on marks obtained by the candidate in JEE Main examination. Those who qualify the exam will be called for the counseling process.

SPA Delhi offers a B.Plan course under undergraduate education programs with a capacity of 35 students intakes. B. Plan program is a 4 year-long full-time course.

Eligibility

• For applying to the B.Arch program at SPA Delhi, candidates must have obtained at least 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 or equivalent examinations.   
• Candidates must have Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as main subjects in 10+2 examinations. 
• Candidates who have qualified 10+3 Diploma course with Mathematics as the main subject are eligible to apply for the B.Arch program.

How to Apply for UG Courses?  

For applying to B.Arch and B.Plan courses the candidate needs to apply for the National Level Entrance Examination by National Testing Agency (NTA) JEE Main.

• Scanned copies of 10th and 12th mark sheets 
• JPG /JPEG format scanned passport size photo
• Scanned signature 
• Domicile Certificate (if applicable) 
• Caste Certificate (if applicable - for ST/SC candidates) 

Other Requirements: 

• Valid email id and mobile number 
• A valid debit/credit card or Net banking account/ UPI / Paytm account

Application Process: 

• Visit the website of JEE Main.
• Register for application by clicking on “Apply for JEE Main” under “New Candidate Registration”.
• Enter your Personal and Educational details.
• Submit the application form.
• Make sure to note down the application number generated.
• Upload the required documents.
• Pay the application fee through Credit/ Debit card/ Paytm/ SBI Buddy.
• The fee can also be paid through e-challan. E-challan could be downloaded from the website after the submission of the form and deposit the e-challan at either of these banks ICICI/ HDFC/ Syndicate/ Canara.

SPA Delhi provides a Master of Architecture course under postgraduate programs. The course duration is 2 years and the student's intakes are 46 in total. M.Arch at SPA Delhi has 2 specializations with 263 students capacity in each specialization. 

Eligibility 

• For applying to the M.Arch program, candidates must have secured a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in B.Arch examinations.  
• A 5% concession to the SC/ST/OBC candidates is provided. 

Selection Criteria

• The selection of the M.Arch program at SPA Delhi is purely Merit-Based.  
• Students must have secured valid marks in Bachelor of Architecture.  
• A portfolio of candidate's work and work experience will also be considered as eligibility criteria.  
• A written test will be conducted along with a personal interview.  
• GATE/CEED candidates will be preferred.  

How to Apply for an M.Arch Course? 

School of Planning and Architecture Delhi accepts offline applications. Students can download the application form from the institute website.

• Mark-sheets of all semesters / Years of Bachelor's degree.  
• Score code of GATE/CEED examination.

• Proof of Nationality (Voter ID/ Adhar card) 
• Photocopy of the receipt of the application fee.

• Students can download the form by clicking on the download button at the right corner.  
• Students can now fill the form with all the mandatory data required.  
• At last, students can submit the form by sending it to the institute admission office or by visiting the institute in-person. 
• The further admission procedure will be practiced at the institute campus only.

• Candidates must have secured valid marks in UGC-NET examinations. 
• The selection of a Ph.D. program will be provided to the UGC Net qualified candidates only.
