Aspirants seeking admission to the Program should meet the following criteria as:
Academic Requirement:
Eligibility for the PhD program at AURO University is based on the candidate’s previous academic performance. Specifically, a candidate must have completed a master’s degree programme with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade. Relaxation of 5% of marks may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/SEBC (Non-creamy layer)/Differently-abled, Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) and other categories of candidates as per the decision of the UGC, Government of Gujarat, and other statutory bodies.
1). Educational Qualification
The educational qualifications required for admission to the Ph.D. program at
AURO University includes:
– A master’s degree program completed after a 4-year/8-semester bachelor’s degree program or a 2-year/4-semester master’s degree program completed after a 3-year bachelor’s degree program.
– At least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade in the master’s degree.
A relaxation of 5% of marks may be allowed for certain categories of candidates.
2). Details of Entrance Test
The AURO Ph.D. Entrance Test (APET) is a critical part of the application process. It is a two-stage process that includes a written test followed by a research proposal presentation. The syllabus of the PET consists of two sections. Section 1 will be a general paper on teaching and research aptitude, and Section 2 shall be domain-specific. The APET is regarded as a qualifying test with qualifying marks of 50%. categories of candidates.
