BAMU (formerly known as Marathwada University) is a state-level university located in Aurangabad, Maharashtra. It is recognized by the UGC and accredited with an ‘A’ grade by the NAAC. BAMU Admission Process
Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University starts its admission process in the month of July-August every year. However this year the admission process starts late and is still going on. Admission for Undergraduate courses is based on the merit (created based on the qualifying examination ) for most of the degree courses like B.Sc, B.Com, and B.Aand entrance exam (MHT CET) is accepted for professional courses like B.Tech. Admission for Post Graduate courses is based on the entrance exam conducted at the state or central level (PG CET) for courses like MA, MSc, MBA (MAH MBA CET), and LLM. And Admission to Ph.D. courses is also based on an Entrance test (PET), followed by a Personal Interview.
BAMU Application Process
The Application Process for BAMU is conducted through online mode.
- Candidates need to fill out the application form available online on the official website of BAMU.
- Application fees for candidates under Open Category from Maharashtra State, Outside Maharashtra State (OMS), J& K Migrant candidates and NRI/ PIO/ Foreign Nationals/ Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries is INR 1000 has to be paid through any online payment method.
- Application fees for candidates under the reserved category of OBC, ST, SC, VJ/DT- NT (A), NT(B), NT(C), SBC, and PwD from Maharashtra state only is INR 800.

BAMU Result
BAMU Results are declared on the official website the university for all the courses. Candidates need to visit the website as per their exam schedule as some of the courses are conducted semester wise and some are conducted annually. Courses like BA, B.Sc, and B.Com have their even semester exams in April and May and odd semester exams in October and November. Candidates can check their results by entering their admission number/enrolment number and course details on the result link. Results are generally released on the website within 1 month to 1.5 months after the completion of the exam. This result will include all the marks and evaluations done through the class tests, internal assignments, fieldwork, and practicals. Hardcopy of their generated result has to be kept with them for future records and also for fee submission of next semester.
