MKSU Admission 2023: Form, Entrance Exam, Courses, Fees, Eligibility, Selection Process

The minimum eligibility requirement for B.Com, BBA, BSc, BCA and B.L.I.Sc. passed in 10+2 in a relevant stream from a recognized university.

Selection of the candidates is based on the merit in the qualifying examination. Application process can be completed through online mode.

Eligibility Table

• Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination after appearing in the supplementary examination conducted by the Board is also eligible for admission in the current academic year on vacant seats
• Those who have passed the qualifying examination from other than Gujarat Board will be required to obtain PEC (Provisional Eligibility Certificate) from Academic Section of M. K. Bhavnagar University before registration.
• For BBA – Candidates must have English subject as a mandatory subject in 10+2.

The university offers various post graduate courses in different streams.

The minimum eligibility for admission in any post graduate course is passed in graduation from a recognized board/university.

Selection of the candidates is based on the merit in the qualifying examination. The process of application has to be completed through online mode.

• For M.Sc, candidates must secure 40% aggregate marks in the graduation and 50% marks in the related subject.
• The post graduate diplomas are offered in business management, strategic management and information technology.

There are several subject options for candidates who are interested in PhD course. The specializations include commerce, arts, education, science, business administration and computer application.

The minimum eligibility requirement for PhD/M. Phil is passed in master’s degree with at least 55% aggregate marks (50% for reserved category).

Selection of the candidates is based on the merit in the qualifying examination and entrance examination conducted by the university. Application process can be completed through online mode.

Eligibility Table

• Candidates must secure 55% aggregate marks in Master’s degree without grace in the concerned subject. 
• The fellow members of ICA/ICWA are eligible for admission in PhD in the subject of economics/commerce/management.
• The entrance test conducted by the university consists of 50% of research methodology and 50% of subject specific topics.
• Applicants exempted from university entrance test if they have passed in UGC-CSIR-Net/JRF/GSET or any other national level test conducted by the authority/institution approve by UGC
• The minimum duration of the PhD program will be 3 years and for M. Phil, course is 2 years.
