KSV Gandhinagar Ph.D: Fees 2025, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

Latest Updates: The admissions for Ph.D. for the academic year 2020-2021 have been completed. The Ph.D. test was conducted on August 23, 2020. 

Kadi Sarva Vishwavidyalaya offers a Ph.D. degree in various subjects including biotechnology, chemistry, computer science, education, management, etc. The eligibility for admission in any Ph.D. course is 55% in master’s degree in respective subjects/. Applicants without any national exam have to appear for the admission test conducted by the University.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Applicants must have a master’s degree in relevant subject with applying for Ph.D. course with a minimum mark of 55% in aggregate or 50% aggregate in any medical courses from any University/Institution recognized by AIU (Association of Indian Universities). For SC/ST there is a 5% relaxation in aggregate percentage/CGPA.
• Applicants completing their degrees from University/Institutions recognized by the Indian Nursing Council / Pharmacy Council of India / All India Council for Technical Education/ Association of Indian Universities are eligible to apply for Ph.D. courses.
• Applicants completing their degree through correspondence are not eligible for admission.
• Applicants qualified in SET/NET/JRF or any national level examination recognized CSIR/UGC in relevant subjects with their Ph.D. courses are exempted from giving the University entrance examination.
• Applicants with 75% marks in GATE are also exempted from the admission entrance exam conducted by University.
• International students are eligible under the consideration of the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India.

How to Apply?

• Application form during admission will be available in the official website of the University or directly from the campus by paying ?200.

• Applicants are to click “new registration” and proceed.
• Fill in all the required details for registration and OTP will come to your registered EMAIL, confirm and complete your registration.
• Applicants are to log in with log-in credentials and choose the preferred subject.
• Fill in other required details, preview before confirming.
• To complete the application form, fill the payable fees and submit the application.
• Take the print out of for future references.

Entrance exam details:

• The entrance exam is followed by a personal interview (PI) by respective subjective teachers. In the interview, round candidates are expected to discuss their thesis topic and research area interest. The thesis topic discussed and selected by students and respective cannot be changed in any given period of Ph.D.
