Aspirants seeking admission to 4 year Full-time B.Tech should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.

Academic Requirement:

Candidate must have cleared his/her 12^th class with minimum 50% of marks in aggregate from a recognized board of education.

Many PSUs and organizations recruit students of the Chemical Engineering department from NIT Surat.
Some of these PSUs which recruit from the college include BPCL, HPCL, IOCL, and COAL India.
Many people consider NIT Surathkal to be better than NIT Surat based on incomplete information and the NIRF ranking released by the Ministry of Education, India.
