Master of Technology [M.Tech] (Research) From SVNIT, Surat

Aspirants seeking admission to 2 year Full-time M.Tech should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.

Academic Requirement:

For Sponsored Candidates:

1. Candidate should have passed B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Arch. or equivalent degree in respective discipline with minimum 60% marks (CGPA 6.5) from a recognized university.
2. The Candidate should have a minimum working experience of two years after graduation. At least one-year continuous experience is required with sponsoring organization.

For Reserved SC/ST Category:

1. Candidate should have passed B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Arch. or equivalent degree in respective discipline with minimum 55% marks (CGPA 6.0).
2. The Candidate should have a minimum working experience of two years after graduation. At least one-year continuous experience is required with sponsoring organization.

Admission is based on the Entrance Test conducted by the University/ GATE.

If a student avail of single occupancy in a Hostel, an additional payment of Rs 3000 or Rs 4500 will be included in the Hostel fee structure.

The SC/ST/PwD students are exempted from the Tuition fees.
