Manav Rachna International University offers Doctor of Philosophy degrees under different faculties namely Engineering & Technology, Allied Health Sciences, Commerce and Business Studies, Computer Applications, Management Studies, Media studies and Humanities, Behavioural and Social sciences, and Dental Sciences.

• The course is offered with a minimum duration of 3 years and a maximum of 6 years.
• The minimum requirement for Ph.D. admission is a master's degree in a relevant subject with 55% marks.
• Admission is based on the entrance test conducted by the university followed by the interview.

MRIIRS Faridabad Ph.D. Eligibility Criteria

• A Master’s degree in the particular field of a recognized Indian University, or a professional degree declared equivalent to the Master’s degree, with at least 55% marks.
• Candidates who have cleared the M.Phil, course work with at least 55% marks in aggregate, and successfully completing the M.Phil. Degree shall be eligible to do research work leading to the Ph. D. Degree in the same institute with an integrated program.
• The candidates who are qualified in CSIR/UGC (JRF)/SLET/GATE and UGC NET examination will be exempted from the Ph.D. Entrance Test. The M.Phil qualified candidates also to be exempted from the entrance examination
• Candidates who have cleared coursework of M.Phil from any UGC approved University with at least 55% marks in aggregate may directly appear for an interview to Ph.D.
• 5% relaxation of marks is given to the reserved category students as per the provisions made by the commission.

The provisional admission for the Ph.D. course will be made based on the written test, followed by the interview and presentation.

An interview will be conducted where the candidates have to discuss their research area through a representation. Based on that, the committee will design a final merit list.
