Admission in all the programmes in this University is based on Entrance Examinations and for some courses; the selection is based on percentage of marks obtained in qualifying exam. The Candidates willing to take admission in the University are required to check their eligibility criteria before proceeding further. 

How to apply?

The candidate who wish to get admission in this University need to follow the below-given steps: 

• Candidates should register on the official website.
• Firstly, read the instructions carefully written on the application form and then click on the proceed button shown at the bottom of the page.
• Then, it will open the new tab ‘New Applicant’ and ‘Existing Applicant' option.
• Candidate applying afresh need to click on the New Applicant, follow the link ‘Apply for Undergraduate or ‘Apply for Post Graduate' as required. And the ones already applied and wanted to apply for other programs need to click on Existing Applicant, and use the already issued ‘Applicant Number'.
• Fill the mandatory details like personal information and Academic details along with passport size photograph and signature and make sure the information is correct.
• After submitting the application form successfully, the candidate gets an acknowledgement message mentioning Name, Applicant No., & Form No.
• The Application fee is ₹1000/- for all program(s) except ₹500/- for three-year Polytechnic Diploma program(s). 
• Save the proof with yourself and submit the hard copy of the application form to IUST, Awantipora.
