Bangalore University M.Tech: Fees 2025, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

Bangalore University MTech admission 2023 will start soon. Admissions will be done through the Karnataka PGCET examination followed by counselling. Registration for Karnataka PGCET 2023 is expected to start from the 1^st week of May 2023 on the official website – cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. Karnataka PGCET 2023 is expected to be held in the 3^rd week of July 2023.

The M.Tech courses of Bangalore University are taught at the University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering (UVCE). The university currently offers 22 M.Tech specializations.

• The specializations are offered in five departments namely, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering.
• The basic eligibility is a B.Tech degree with at least 50% marks.

For admission to the M.Tech courses of Bangalore University at UVCE, prospective students must have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering in a subject relevant to the M.Tech specialization they wish to pursue.

They must also secure at least 50% marks in the qualifying examination. 5% relaxation is available for reserved candidates.

Additionally, they must qualify in either the Karnataka PGCET or the GATE examination.

The admission to the M.Tech programs at UVCE is through the Karnataka PGCET examination. The exam consists of 75 MCQ questions and the maximum possible score is 100. The time limit for the examination is two and a half hours.
