Manipal University (MAHE) B.Tech admissions 2023 is open now. The last date to apply for admission is March 15, 2023. Interested candidates can apply online on the university’s official website – manipal.edu. Admissions to the program will be granted on the basis of the Manipal Entrance Test (MET) followed by a counselling process. Online Test Slot Booking MET 2023 will be done from April 21 – April 24, 2023. MET 2023 (1st Attempt) will be conducted from April 28 to April 30, 2023.

The minimum eligibility to apply for Manipal University BTech program is 50% marks in Class Xll in respective discipline from any recognised board of education. The institute charges INR 16.1 LPA for this 4 years full-time course having 18 specializations.

• Candidates must have passed in 10+2 or equivalent with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as compulsory subjects and Biology/Biotechnology/Computer Science as an optional subject from a recognized board
• They must have secured 50% aggregate marks where Mathematics and Physics are taken under consideration for the calculation of Score.

Manipal University (MAHE) B.Tech Course Details

The B.Tech program is divided into 8 semesters. 170 credits are the requirement for the award of a B.Tech degree. The university offers the B.Tech degree across 16 different specializations:

The first and second semester is common for all branches. There is an option of branch change in the third semester based on the performance of the first year. In the sixth semester there are only electives facilitating the study abroad opportunity. The final semester is fully dedicated to project work.
