Manipal University M.Tech Admission 2023: Dates, Fees, Eligibility, Application Process

Manipal University (MAHE) M.Tech admission 2023 is open now. The last date to apply for admission is March 15, 2023. Interested candidates can apply online on the university’s official website – manipal.edu. Admissions to the program will be granted on the basis of the Manipal Entrance Test (MET) followed by a counselling process. Online Test Slot Booking MET 2023 will be done from April 21 – April 24, 2023. Manipal University M.Tech Eligibility Criteria

In order to be eligible for MTech admission at Manipal University (MAHE), candidates must fulfill the following requirements:

• The candidates must have completed their Bachelor’s degree in the respective field of Engineering from any recognised University or College.
• They should have attained a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Graduation.
• They should have appeared for Manipal Entrance Test (MET) or GATE.

Manipal University M.Tech Admission Guidelines

Admission to the M.Tech program at Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) or Manipal University is based on scores obtained in the Manipal Entrance Test (MET) followed by a counselling process. Candidates who have cleared the GATE examination will be given preference for admission and such candidates are exempted from appearing in the MET. 

Manipal University M.Tech Application Process

• The candidates have to go to the official website and click on Apply.
• Fill out the application form for admissions.
• Upload required documents including photo and signature.
• Select the M.Tech program you want to apply for and enter your address.
• Select the preferred mode of payment.
• A fee of 600 INR is charged for the application and a fee of 1,400 INR will be charged for the entrance test. For NRI/Foreign or sponsored candidates the application fee is INR 2500.

MET Exam Pattern

MET is an online exam and is a self examination which is remote proctored fully. The students have to give the exam by themselves. The exam has the following sections:

• Mathematics
• Chemistry
• Physics
• English

The sections can be attempted in any format. In the end the students have to submit their test and by clicking submit the final result will be displayed on their computer screens.

Manipal University M.Tech Course Details

Manipal Institute of Technology offers M.Tech in 25 different streams. The duration of the course if 2 years and exams are conducted as per the norms of Manipal University. The two years are divided into four semesters and contain end term examinations. Project/Research work is also included in the course only.
