Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana or S- VYASA is situated in Bangalore, Karnataka. Established in 1986, the university campus, Prashanti Kutiram, spreads over an area of 100 acres. It has been accredited A+ grade by NAAC and has been recognized as a Category 1 by the UGC. The institution has carried itself as a Centre of Advanced Research (CAR) in Yoga and published over 284 research papers over the years. 

S- VYASA is the only Yoga University offering various Yoga courses providing Life training and character building education with Yoga as a way of life. SVYASA Courses & Fees

The institution offers well designed Yoga courses in varied fields that include Spirituality, Yoga and Life Sciences, Yoga and Physical Sciences, Yoga and Management Studies and Yoga and Humanities.

1. Y.I.C or Yoga Instructor’s Course is a monthly course to transform the knowledge of the individual to be able to teach Yoga with confidence.

SVYASA​ Placements 2024

The Student Support Cell or the Placement Cell at S- VYASA gives detailed information to students applying for placement opportunities and works towards helping them have a flourishing career. Students have to register at the placement cell and apply to various programmes according to the eligibility criteria. Selection of the students are purely based on their performance. Being a reputed institute, S- VYASA provides scholarships from governmental and non-governmental institutions to needy and meritorious students. 1. Paris Immersion Scholarship: Final year BBA/BCA students can participate in the iLEAD Scholarship test for a 2-week HETIC Paris immersion program including an Global Internship Certification. The Scholarship is awarded based on the performance of the applicant in the Scholarship Test / Competition.
2. National Scholarship Portal – The portal is a one stop solution through which services starting from student application, application receipt, processing, sanction and disbursal of various scholarship schemes of Central and State Governments to students are enabled. 
3. Scholarship schemes from the government of India for foreign students – the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) provide scholarships to the foreign students who are meritorious and deserving.

1. Karnataka government scholarship scheme – The State Scholarship Portal (SSP) under Karnataka government scholarship scheme provides fee reimbursement, accomodation fee and financial service to those belonging to the ST, SC, OBC category.
2. State government scholarship schemes- Governments of different states provide post matric scholarship schemes to those belonging to the SC, ST,OBC category students. Students with a proper domicile can apply to such scholarships.

SVYASA Facilities and Hostel

• Hostel: Hostels at SVYASA have well equipped, spacious rooms with necessary amenities like nutritious and hygienic food, Wi-fi enabled to provide 24×7 access to the internet, round the clock security and well connected to the city through bus routes. The hostel rooms have various facilities like cots, tables, pillows, doormats, buckets & rugs, fans, curtains, bathroom fittings, study table, chair, etc. There’s also a common area in the hostel with facilities like T.V, refrigerator, WiFi, water purifier, washing machine, dining table, heat pump, center table, etc. The hostel fee is tabulated below:

• Library:SVYASA Library has a good collection of 15000 books, videos and books. The digital library has a few thousand online journals. SVYP (Swami Vivekananda Yoga Prakashan) is the publication wing of S-VYASA having about 35 titles, videos and audios.
• Sports: The Institute offers facilities for indoor and outdoor sports such as chess, carom, cricket, football, basketball, etc. and regularly organizes sports tournaments. The institute also has a sports club named 'Ekalavya', it is the sports club of NSB. 
• Auditorium: SVYASA has a well-furnished auditorium, equipped with audio-visual equipment and required furniture, most suitable for organizing conferences, seminars, workshops, and other academic, literary activities, or cultural functions that require light and sound facilities.
• Labs: Various labs like Molecular Bioscience Lab, Psychophysiology Lab, Cognitive Neuroscience Lab, Psychology Lab, and Bioenergy Lab are available at the institute for hands-on training
