Visvesvaraya Technological University offers 23 specializations for a complete 4-year undergraduate program. A few of the B.Tech specializations offered at VTU are as follows:

Eligibility criteria 

• A student from any stream in their 11th and 12th class is eligible for applying for B.Tech. admissions.
• A minimum 45% aggregate in 10+2 examinations is required to fill in the eligibility criteria.
• It is compulsory for all applicants to sit for the JEE Mains exam which is conducted nationally. 
• Cut off marks of the current year and marks obtained by the student in JEE Mains will decide his/her eligibility. 

Selection Criteria 

• The admission to B.Tech. is finalized on the basis of rank obtained in JEE Mains exam.
• Final cut off for the current year combined with the scores of the student will finalise his/her selection. Current year expected cut off is 89%.
