VTU Ph.D Computer Applications: Fees 2025, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

Aspirants seeking admission to 3 year Full-time Ph.D Program should meet  must have Master's degree (or equivalent) in relevant discipline from a recognized university, with at least 55% marks.

Admission is based on Merit/Interview and/or Test conducted by the university.

Note:-

Application fee:-

• Foreign – Rs 3000
• SC/ST/Cat-I/SA – Rs 1000
• National/General – Rs 2000 

Thesis submission + Defence (Final Viva Voce) Fee – Rs 40000*

*The scholar has to pay Rs 10000 in addition to the normal prescribed fees in case a foreign examiner evaluates the thesis

• Re-registration – Rs 17000
• Change of Guide – Rs 6000
• Change of Center – Rs 6000
• Change of Title / Topic – Rs 6000
