Rabindranath Tagore University also known as RNTU Bhopal is India’s first skill-based University and is the leading university of India’s leading higher education group, AISECT Group of Universities. How to apply for RNTU Admission 2024.
Here are the steps to follow to apply for Rabindranath Tagore University Admission 2024.
Online Procedure:
- Visit the official website and click on the ‘Admissions’ tab”.
- Fill all the required details in the given form. If the entrance examination is required for the course, choose the desired examination centre as well. Also, choose ‘online / offline’ for a mode of examination (if applicable).
- Upload photograph and pay the application fee of INR 500 online.
- Payment can be made through Net banking, debit card or credit card.
- After submitting, an SMS will be sent, alongside the final accepted application /registration number.
Offline Procedure:
Step 1: Admission Form
Students can get the form either from the University office or download it from www.rntu.ac.in. The cost of application form is INR 500.
Step 2: Completing the application form
The candidates must fill out the application form with the utmost care and mention all the necessary details correctly. It is mandatory to provide an email address and mobile number for further communication. Candidates must attach self-attested copies of the mark sheet with the application form.
Step 3: Final Submission
Duly attested documents along with the application form should be sent/submitted to the following address:

Step 4: Selection process
Qualifying candidates will be informed about the date, time and venue of Admission Procedure (Written Test/ Group Discussion/ Interview/ or Direct Admission) on the University’s website. In the case of direct admission, it would be purely based on the Merit basis. A list of selected candidates will be displayed on the website after which they will be required to submit the course fee. Failing to do so can lead to cancellation of admission.
Step 5: Announcement of Admission
The University will send an email and SMS to the candidates regarding their admission status. However, this should not be taken as an official announcement of admission. Selected candidates will get intimation of their selection through an Admission Letter which will be sent through courier.

RNTU has launched its scholarship program with the name Shiksha Mitra Scholarships. It is the largest University aided Scholarship Program at the state level. The scholarships worth Rs. 1 Crore are to be handed out under this program. This scholarship takes into account the particular results of a student in their class 12th board examinations.

The Rabindranath Tagore University (RNTU) formerly known as AISECT University, has announced the Shiksha Mitra Scholarship Scheme for the 2020 academic session. The scholarship scheme worth 50 Lakhs is applicable to both undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
The Shiksha Mitra Scholarship Scheme is given to the students as the fee waiver based on the marks obtained by them in 12th standard board results. The scholarship scheme was launched in 2011 and is the largest university-aided Scholarship Program in the state of Madhya Pradesh.

While explaining the objectives of the scholarship scheme, The Chancellor of RNTU, Mr. Santosh Kumar Choubey said that the main purpose of the scholarship is to boost the accessibility and affordability for students coming from underprivileged backgrounds, such that they can access the updated courses at nominal fees.
He also said that the Shiksha Mitra Scholarship Scheme provides opportunities for everyone who are looking ahead to be a part of an advanced learning environment and wants to avail the hands on skill to build a prospering future for themselves.
RNTU is India's first university offering 32 skill courses through RNTU-NSDC Skill Academies.
RTNU is a UGC recognized and NAAC accredited university and is also a member of AIU and ACU.
