Barkatullah University (BU) PhD Admission 2023: Application Process, Eligibility, Reservation

Barkatullah University PhD Admission 2023 is going to begin soon. Admission to the PhD is based on common entrance test followed by an interview conducted by Barkatullah University. Candidates can register in the above mentioned courses by submitting the application form either offline or online mode. Barkatullah University Ph.D Eligibility 

• Candidates must hold master’s degree in the concerned subject from this university or any other recognized university with at least 55% of marks and 45% of marks (for SC/ST/physically disabled candidates) or an equivalent grade of M.Phil degree
• Candidates with at least 7 years of experience in research/ teaching with at least five papers published are eligible for admission with at least 50% of marks at masters degree.
• Candidates who qualified in national level test and state level test accredited by UGC or teachers fellowship holders or M.Phil degree holders shall be exempted from entrance test.

Selection to the above mentioned courses is done on the basis of common entrance test conducted by the university followed by an interview.

How To Apply?

• Candidates can obtain the online application form from the university website “www.bubhopal.nic.in”.
• You can apply through MP online portal in which admission rules, fees and other information of the department is available.
• Candidates have to submit the application fees of amount Rs. 2500/-.
• Fee has to be paid by through cash or demand draft drawn on any nationalized bank in favour of “Registrar, Barkatullah University,Bhopal”.
• Only paid application forms will be accepted and non paid application forms will be rejected automatically
• For confirmation of admission in the department candidates are required to deposit prescribed fees provided to them.
• Application for registration may be submitted any time during the academic year.
• After submission of the application form candidates are required to send printout of application along with the following enclosures by post or present individually to the concerned teaching departments.
• Dully filled in application form along with documents and entrance test fees should be submitted/sent to office of the Registrar within the given period

Enclosures

1. Attested copies of the statements of mark of graduate and master’s degree examination.
2. Migration certificate along with enrolment form and requisite fees.
3. List of publication of the candidate together with a copy of each of the publications.
4. Ten typed copies of detailed synopsis of proposed topic of investigation
5. High School 10^th Mark sheet & Certificate
6. Intermediate 12^th Mark sheet & Certificate
7. Caste certificate (if applicable)
8. Self signed copies of passport size recent coloured photographs
9. Physically handicapped certificate (if applicable)

• Seats of the candidates in the above courses will be reserved as per the MP government rules for the candidates belong to (SC/ST/OBC & FF; Physically Handicapped) category.
• 20% seats of each subject shall be reserved for the above categories.
