Startup/ Incubation Cell: This cell located at Alagappa University campus is incorporated to promote innovation of young minds. The cell functions to promote the startup ideas of bright students and get them funding for the same.
Solar park: At Alagappa University Campus, 12KW and 5KW capacity of solar panels were installed. The solar panels are connected to the TANGEDCO grid so that the produced electricity is directly used in Alagappa University. Solar street lights are also installed at various parts of Alagappa University campus to reduce the conventional electricity usage.
Wifi Hub: Alagappa University Campus has 40 MBPS BSNL Leased line internet facility and 1GBPS NKN Connectivity out of which 100 MBPS Internet leased line connectivity is provided by BSNL. Also, the Alagappa University Campus has a 24X7 Wi-Fi facility for the student and faculty members to avail internet connection at specified Wi-Fi hotspot locations of the Hostel, Academic blocks, Administrative Blocks and Guest House. Central Library: A vast collection of 1 lakh volumes of printed Books, 149 printed periodicals, 492 items of non-book materials, and 1446 volumes of theses in print form. It has a Seating capacity of 150 students at a time. Access to 6242+ numbers of Online journals and 1,31,000+ numbers of e-theses are also available.
Hostel: Alagappa University has 15 hostels with 427 rooms for men and women research scholars and graduate students of the University. The hostel rooms are well furnished and well ventilated. One Reading Room is available for each hostel.
Health Care Center: It provides early diagnosis of diseases of students at free of cost. It also organizes compulsory general medical checkup camps for all the members of the University.

SC/ ST Scholarship

Eligibility:

Applicants who want to apply for the scholarship should be residents of Tamil Nadu.
They should belong to Schedule Tribe and Caste.
The Annual Family Income should be less than 2.5 lakh from all the sources.
Applicants should have Passed their previous exam with a minimum 50%.
Applicants should be enrolled in Alagappa University.

BC/ MBC/ DNC Scholarship

These Scholarships are sanctioned to the Alagappa University Students belonging to BC/MBC/DNC communities who are pursuing UG/PG Courses. The scholarship amount will be reimbursed to the student every year for the entire duration of their UG/PG Courses.The reimbursement will cover Tuition Fee, Special Fee, Exam Fee, other compulsory fees as prescribed by the Institution or Rs. 2.00 lakh per year whichever is lesser.If more applications are received, eligible students will be shortlisted as per the marks secured by them in plus two public exams.

Eligibility:

The Applicant should belong to Backward Classes, Most Backward Classes or Denotified Communities.

Alagappa University Fellowship

Alagappa University has created AURF (Alagappa University Research Fellowship) which provides financial assistance for undertaking Research by the Research Scholars of the University.

AURF Research Fellowship

Eligibility: Top scorers who successfully pass the Pre-Ph.D. Entrance Exam and subsequently enroll in the University Departments (or Registered Non-stipendiary Meritorious Scholar in the Departments).

Stipend: INR 5,000 per month for two years.

Doctoral/Post Doctoral Fellowship for Overseas Candidates

Eligibility for PhD Fellowship: The applicant should hold a Master Degree in the concerned discipline or in the Interdisciplinary area awarded by a recognized University.

The upper age limit for the fellowship is 25 years at the time of the submission of application.

Stipend: INR 50,000/- per month (consolidated) and a contingency grant of INR 50,000/- per annum for consumables and domestic travel for attending conferences/seminars.

Eligibility for Post Doctoral Fellowship: The foreign applicant must have acquired a Ph.D. degree in the concerned field from a recognized University, not before two years from the date of application.

The upper age limit for the fellowship is 35 years at the time of the submission of application. However, age relaxation of 5 (five) years will be given to Physically Challenged and Women candidates.

Stipend: INR 25,000/- per month and a contingency grant of INR 50,000/- per annum for consumables and domestic travel for attending conferences/seminars.

Very good made excellent by good pedagogical interventions i specialised in finance and banking, at a time when there was no sectoral focus and i noticed that afterall even in iims most guys go to work in foreign banks.
Job opportunities are plentiful after the course and the college has great initiatives and encouragements for the students who have good ideas.
Although internships may take many forms, the purpose of an internship is to provide a meaningful learning experience for the student.
The faculties are very patient in their teaching style and even know none of the teachers were strict we had really high respect for all of them since they were so knowledgeable and experienced about the subjects that they were teaching us.
