Nanaji Deshmukh Veterinary Science University offers B.V.Sc & A.H.) and B. F. Sc. at UG level with an intake of 87 students and 33 students respectively.

The minimum eligibility to apply is 10+2 from Board of Secondary Education, Madhya Pradesh, Bhopal or any equivalent examination from any recognized board. Admission to these courses will be on the basis of State Level Entrance Examination (Pre-Veterinary & Fishery Test) conducted by M. P. Professional Examination Board, Bhopal.

The university of Veterinary Science offers Ph.D. in 11 different disciplines of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry with a total intake of 20 students, and a Diploma course in Animal Husbandry with a maximum capacity of 61 students.

For admission in Ph.D. of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry, candidates must have a Master’s degree from a recognized college or university. For admission in Diploma course, candidates must have completed 10+2 from a recognized board.

Admission to Ph.D. and Diploma courses is done on the basis of entrance examination conducted by the Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board, Bhopal or by the Veterinary Council of India.
