BVP Pune was established in 1964. It offers various UG and PG courses in the field of Medicine, Dentistry, Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Nursing, Pharmacy, Engineering, Management, Hotel Management, Catering Technology, Environment Science and Agriculture etc. These courses are offered in constituent and affiliated colleges of the university located at Pune (Satara Road and Erandwane), Mumbai, Solapur, Kolhapur, Sangli, Karad and New Delhi.
BVP Pune offers admission on the basis of various National and University-Based entrance tests followed by university-level counselling. Application form for all the courses can be filled online by visiting the official website of BVP Pune.
B.Tech admission is based on CET (Engineering) conducted by the university and MHTCET or JEE Main in the case of remaining seats. NEET UG qualified candidates are eligible to apply for MBBS and BDS programs. For B.Arch program, a valid score in NATA will be considered. MD/ MS and MDS admission is based on a valid score in NEET PG.

BVP Pune offers B.Pharm, B.Pharm Practice (Regular+Lateral Entry), Pharm.D., Pharm.D. and M.Pharm at UG and PG level under Poorna College of Pharmacy. B.Pharm is the minimum eligibility criteria for M.Pharm and Pharm.D (PB). 10+2 with PCB is mandatory for B.Pharm, B.Pharm Practice and Pharm.D. courses.

GATE score is mandatory for M.Tech while B.Tech admission is granted on the basis CET conducted by BVP and MHT CET/ JEE Main in the case of remaining seats. Bharati Vidyapeeth takes admission for B.Sc H&HA through an entrance examination, i.e. BVP CET. The eligibility criteria for admission is at least 40% in 10+2 from a recognized board.
