DY Patil Pune Admission 2024: Dates, Courses, Eligibility, Selection Criteria, Application Process

Dr. D.Y. Patil Vidyapeeth University offers B.Sc. Nursing, P.B.B.Sc. Nursing, B.P.T. and B. Optometry courses at the under-graduation level.

Eligibility: 

The minimum eligibility under B.Sc. Nursing is, the candidate must have passed 10+2 in the science stream with min. 45% marks in PCBE subjects. 

For P.B.B.Sc., the candidate must have passed the course of General Nursing and Midwifery. 

Under B.P.T Physiotherapy, the candidate must have passed 10+2 with PCB subjects with the required marks. 

For B.Optometry, the candidate must have passed class 12th or equivalent with min. PCB/ M&E with 50% marks.

The admission to all the bachelor courses will be done on the basis of the score in AIAHCET.

Key Note:

• The candidate should have completed 17 years of age on or before 31st December 2021.
• Relaxation of 5% of aggregate marks will be provided to the candidates of ST/SC category.
• The candidate must be medically fit.

D.Y. Patil University (DPU) offers M.Sc., M.P.T. and M. Optometry under PG courses. The minimum eligibility criteria for M.Sc. Nursing is, the candidate must have passed B.Sc. Nursing. For M.P.T, the candidate must have passed B.P.T. For M. Optometry, the candidate must have passed B. Optometry or equivalent with min. 50% marks. Admission of the candidates will be done on the basis of their respective Entrance Test score.

Key Note:

Under M. Optometry, the candidate must have completed 22 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission.

D.Y. Patil University (DPU) offers B.Tech with specialisations in Biotechnology and Medical Biotechnology, and B.B.A. at the undergraduate level. The minimum eligibility for B.Sc. in Biotechnology and Medical Biotechnology is, the candidate must have passed Class 12th or equivalent in the relevant subjects with 45% marks. For B.B.A., the candidate must have passed class 12th from any stream with 45% marks in aggregate.

Admission to B.Tech. will be based on the score obtained by the candidate in AIBTCET. For B.B.A, the candidate has to give Entrance Test.

Note:

Relaxation of 5% of aggregate marks will be provided to the candidates of ST/SC category.

At the postgraduate level, the university offers M.Tech with Integrated Biotechnology, M.Sc. with Biotechnology and M.B.A with 10 specialisations.

In M.Tech Integrated Biotechnology, the candidate must have passed XII Std. or equivalent with PCB/Life Sciences with min. 45% marks in PCB subjects. 

For M.Sc. Biotechnology, the candidate must have done Bachelor’s in the related discipline. For MBA, the candidate must be a graduate in any discipline.

Admission to M.Tech. will be done on the basis of score in AIBTCET For M.Sc. Biotech. It will be done on the basis of AIPGBET and for M.B.A., it will be done on the basis of CAT / MAT / XAT / CMAT / ATMA score and GD/PI after it.

• The total fees (Entrance + Processing ) for B.Sc.,Nursing, B.P.T, B.Optometry = INR 1050
• The total fees (Entrance + Processing ) for all the other courses = INR 1300
