Gondwana University BA Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admission to the B.A. course offered at Gondwana University shall fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

• The students must obtain at least 55% marks in 10+2 class from any reputed institute or Board.
• Candidate must qualify 12th Standard Examination of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary/Higher Secondary Education with English as one of the subject passing.

Or

• Candidate can qualify class 12 Standard Examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education in Vocational of MCVC Stream with one Language only.

Gondwana University BA Course Details 

• Gondwana University B.A course is a semester basis program for a duration of three years.
• There are six semesters that occur in three years. The duration of each Semester is 6 months with an Examination at the end.

Program Structure

End Semester Examination Pattern: Each paper contains four/ five units and each question paper will contain five compulsory questions. The duration of the paper will be 3 hours. A compulsory question will come from each of the four units without any internal choice.

Evaluation:

• Candidate must obtain a minimum of 35% marks in aggregate to qualify in each theory subject which consists of Internal Assessment (IA) and Semester End Examination (ESE).
• The minimum qualifying marks 35% mean 07 out of 20 in the Internal Assessment and 28 out of 80 in Semester End Examination considered separately.
• Theory subject with a practical component, the student must obtain a minimum of 35 % marks which contain 07 out of 20 in Internal Assessment and 11 out of 30 in practical examination and 17 out of 50 in ESE considered separately.
