Nagaland University offers B.Tech in 5 specializations under its UG program. It also offers B.Tech Lateral entry admission under the same five specializations as of regular program. Nagaland University offers full-time courses with a duration of 4 years. Basic eligibility for this course is 10+2 or equivalent. Selection to B.Tech is done on the basis of CUET UG/JEE Mains. Nagaland University B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

• Admission into B.Tech, candidates must have passed in 10+2 examination from a recognized board with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and any one of the following: Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science, Biology with minimum 50% marks. 
• For B.Tech Lateral entry, candidates must pass in B.Sc. degree in relevant discipline or Diploma in Engineering with minimum 50% marks from recognized university. 

Nagaland University B.Tech Selection Criteria

Selection to B.Tech (Fresh Entry) is done on the basis of 70% of 12th standard score + 30% of JEE Mains score or through the University quota. Selection to B.Tech (Lateral Entry) is done on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination.

Nagaland University offers B.Sc (Hons.) Agriculture at UG level with the duration of 4 years. The course covers a total of 176 credit hours including STUDENT READY Programme ( Rural Awareness Work Experience Programme (RAWEP), Industrial attachment and Experiential learning Programme). 

Admission into B.Sc (Hons.) Agriculture at Nagaland University, the basic eligibility criteria is 10+2 and the selection to this course is on the basis of CUET UG exam scores.

Nagaland University B.Sc Eligibility Criteria

For admission into B.sc (Hons.) Agriculture, candidates must have passed 10+2 in Science with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ 10+2 in Agriculture/Physics, Chemistry and Agriculture or equivalent with 50% marks for General and OBC candidates, and 45% marks for SC/ST/PWDs candidates in aggregate

• For admission into M.A /M.Sc/M.Com/ M.Ed, candidates must have passed three-year Degree Course with Honours/Major with 50% (45% for SC/ST categories) marks and for General stream students of Arts, Commerce and Science with 55% (50% for SC/ST categories) in the concerned subject
• Candidates must have a B.Sc.(Ag.)Hons./ B.Sc.(Hons)Ag./ B.Sc.(Hort.) Degree from any ICAR recognized Institution/University with minimum CGPA. Candidates with B.Sc. (Hort.) are eligible for admission in all M.Sc.(Ag.) Programme. (except Agronomy & Livestock Production & Management). However, they have to complete the deficiency courses as decided by the concerned department.
• For admission to LLM course, candidates must have LLB degree with 55% (50% for SC/ST categories) of marks under 10+2+3 pattern or Five years integrated course under 10+2+5 pattern

Nagaland PG Selection Criteria

• Admission to MA/M.Sc/M.Com/ M.Ed is based on merit in the qualifying examination followed by a counselling
• Selection to M.Sc. (Ag.)/ M.Sc. (Hort.) will be done on the basis of an entrance examination followed by a counselling & reservation quota

Nagaland University M.Phil. Eligibility Criteria

For admission to the M.Phil. programme, candidates must have a Master’s Degree or a professional degree declared equivalent to the Master’s Degree by the corresponding statutory regulatory body, with at least 55% ( 50% for SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/ Differently-abled and other categories) marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade ‘B’ in the UGC 7-point scale (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) or an equivalent degree from a foreign educational institution accredited by an Assessment and Accreditation Agency which is approved, recognized or authorized by an authority, established or incorporated under a law in its home country or any other statutory authority in that country for the purpose of assessing, accrediting or assuring quality and standards of educational institutions.

Nagaland University M.Phil. Selection Criteria

Selection to M.Phil. at Nagaland University is done on the basis of merit in an entrance examination conducted by Nagaland University.

Nagaland University offers Ph.D at research level in various specializations with a minimum duration of 3 years (6 semesters with minimum two semester course work) and a maximum duration of 5 years (10 Semesters). The admission to the Ph.D. programme is done at the beginning of each academic session. Nagaland University Ph.D. Selection Criteria

Selection to Ph.D. at Nagaland University is done on the basis of merit. However, the candidates are required to appear for an entrance exam conducted by the university to be eligible for admission. Admission to any of the Ph.D. programs offered by Nagaland University is subject to meeting the basic eligibility criteria and UGC NET/JRF score.
