Central University of Odisha (CUO), formerly known as Central University of Orissa, is a government university, located in the Koraput District of Odisha. Established in 2009, CUO is approved by the UGC and accredited by the NAAC. The Central University of Odisha offers UG, PG, and PhD programs across various disciplines through 9 schools and 18 different departments. Central University of Odisha Scholarships

The students enrolled in Central University of Odisha can apply for the non-net fellowship to research students by the university. Central University of Odisha Campus & Facilities

The Central University of Odisha provides a lot of facilities to its enrolled students. With a huge campus of 400+ acres of land, it incorporates a Central Library, DACE, Computer Centre, and separate hostels for boys and girls and a guest house.

  • Hostels: to ensure the safety of the students, the Central University of Odisha has hostel facilities for girls and boys separately. Each of the hostels contains 236 rooms, providing good hygiene for the students. Moreover, the canteen facility is open for students too. Computer Centre: Central University of Odisha has full fledged Wi-Fi facilities for students to ensure grid connectivity throughout the campus. Moreover, it even extends to building a computer Centre to enhance the computer application knowledge in the students of Central University of Odisha.
  • Central library: Central University of Odisha has a library with more than 42,000 books for students and faculty members. The central library facility also extends to the library facility for students.
  • Guest House: the guest house in the university premises has a well functioning left with 32 rooms and 8 suits. It also has a banquet Hall, a conference hall, lobby, and dining hall for different occasions. 
  • DACE: The Central University of Odisha has established Dr Ambedkar Centre of excellence. The DACE provides free UPSC exam coaching to Scheduled Caste students.
