LPU MA English Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate must pass with 50% aggregate grades in a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent examination.
• 5% reduction to North-East states/ Sikkim applicants/ Defense Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmiri Emigrants.
• Admission will be based on merit in qualifying examination.

LPU MA English Application Process 

Candidates need to visit the official website of the university and follow these steps to apply for MA in English:

Step 1: Register

• Visit the official website of the LPU and register through the official admission portal of LPU i.e. LPU ADMIT. 
• Click the “Apply Now” tab and fill in the basic details like name, email, phone no, gender and password.
• Finally, log in to the site with the username and password that you have created.

Step 2: Apply for LPUNEST

• LPUNEST is an online eligibility/scholarship test through which the students will be selected for admission and scholarships.
• Candidates are required to deposit the test fee.
• The application form and a soft copy of the LPUNEST Kit cost INR 1000 (for boys) and INR 500 (for girls).
• The cost of the application form and the printed LPUNEST kit is Rs.1500 (for boys) and INR 1000 (for girls).
• After that, fill out the application form for LPUNEST.

Step 3: Application form

• Fill out the form with the required details
• Select the BPT program from the available course list
• Pay the first payment of Rs 10,000. This fee includes the application fee of Rs 500 and the rest is the program fee for the first sem). After that, the university will provide the prospectus at your given address and a unique provisional registration number at your registered email ID.
• Upload all the documents that are required.
• Submit the balance fee within the due date.

Step 4: Exam slot booking

• Students can book their preferred exam slot based on their date, time, and venue.
• Download the admit card or hall ticket of the LPUNEST

• Three recent passport-size photos
• Certificate or mark sheet of class 10th, 12th, and graduation
• Marksheet or certificate of the qualifying exam
• Address proof
• Migration or transfer documents from the previous university or school
• Entrance test scorecard/rank
• Aadhaar card
• Income proof
• Self-attested anti-ragging affidavit by both the student and parents signed
• Passport (for international students)
