Master of Commerce [M.Com] From LPU, Jalandhar

LPU M.Com admission 2024 is open now. Admission to M.Com at LPU will be done through the LPUNEST entrance examination. The last date to apply for LPUNEST 2024 Phase-II is February 15, 2024. LPUNEST 2024 Schedule 1 Exam will be held till February 05, 2024. Interested candidates can apply online for LPUNEST 2024 on the official website of LPU.

LPU M.Com Course

The M.com program at LPU is a two-year course. Courses are divided here into two parts: foundation courses and core courses. While the foundation course aims at building the base of the student, the core courses are more practical and industry oriented. There are various optional subjects are available in M.Com where students can choose up to 4 electives in the 2 years of study. Students get the opportunity to do an internship in various top firms after 1st year of study. Students also get an opportunity to go abroad to study for the next year with an option to go for a 4 weeks study tour in foreign like the USA/ European countries or any other country as decided by the University. In addition. LPU M.Com program is available in offline as well as online mode. Students has the choice to do it from home via Lovely Professional University Distance Education (LPUDE). 

LPU M.Com Eligibility Criteria 

M.Com (Regular): A graduate degree with 50% marks from disciplines of Commerce, Management or Accounts or equivalent from a government recognized university. LPUNEST is also required by an individual to get admission.

Online M.Com (Distance Education): Graduation in the relevant stream from a recognized university.

LPU M.Com Admission 2024

Step 1: Sign Up

• Register onto LPU ADMIT with your basic details like (Name, Email ID, Mobile No., State, Gender and Password). Your email id will then act as your username for the portal and the password will be set by you while registering on the portal.
• You will then receive a mail from LPU on your registered email id regarding this.
• Login to the LPU ADMIT with an already created username/ password

Step 2: LPUNEST Registration

LPUNEST is the online test that serves as the gateway to programs you are interested in. Admission in this programme is done based on performance in LPUNEST. In addition, LPUNEST will also act as a Scholarship test and students can avail themselves of huge scholarships based on performance in this test.

• Deposit the test fee:
  • The cost of the Application form and Soft copy of the LPUNEST Kit is INR 1000 (Male applicant) and INR 500 (Female applicant).
  • The cost of the Application form and Printed LPUNEST Kit is INR 1500 (Male applicant) and INR 1000 (Female applicant).
• Fill the test application form.

Step 3: Book the Exam Slot and Appear

• Book the time slot (preferred date and time) to appear in the Online Remotely Proctored LPUNEST Exam.
• Appear and qualify for the exam.

The following documents are required at the time of admission

• High School & Intermediate Mark sheets
• High School & Intermediate Passing Certificate
• Marksheet & Passing certificate of undergraduate degree
• LPU NEST Scorecard 2024
• LPU NEST Admit Card 2024
• Birth Certificate
• Recent Passport Size photograph
• Character Certificate
• Category Certificate

Step 5: Admission

• Deposit initial payment of INR 10000. After the successful payment, a unique provisional registration no. will be generated and sent to your registered Email ID.
• Upload the documents like Recent Photograph, Matriculation Marksheet, Qualifying exam Certificate/ Marksheet, previous qualifications exam certificate/ mark sheet (if applicable) and Address Proof.
• Apply for residential/ mess/ transportation/ parking facility as per the requirement.
• All the submitted documents are to be verified from the originals within the prescribed timelines.
• Deposit the balance fee within the timelines prescribed by the university.
