Bhagwant University Admission 2024: Courses, Application Process, Fees

Bhagwant University offers B.Tech. under 9 specializations for a duration of four years. The university permits admission to the same via Lateral Entry.

Admission is based on the rank obtained in University Joint Entrance Test (UJET)/ EPSI National Admission Test (ENAT)/ JEE - Mains or any other state level entrance exam.

Bhagwant university provides undergraduate courses in the streams of B.Tech, BA, BBA, B.Sc., BHMCT, BAMS, BHMS, BPT, B.Pharm, B.Com, LL.B, BCA, BJMC, etc. Admission to the said courses begins in April, forms are available on the university website. The following table gives the highlights of U.G. courses.

The university offers M.Tech. under four specializations for a duration of 2 years. These programs are also offered on a Part-time basis.

Admission to the M.Tech. program is granted on the basis of UJET/ENAT/JEE or any state entrance Examination.

The university offers an MBA for a duration of two years.

Admission is based on the rank obtained in University Joint Entrance Test (UJET)/EPSI National Admission Test (ENAT)/CAT/MAT/XAT.

Admission to various PG courses like MBA, M.Tech, MA, MSN, MPT, M.Pharm, M.Com, M.Sc., LL.M, MCA, etc are done on the basis of score of CET/ GATE or equivalent examination. Candidates who possess the Graduation degree in the relevant discipline are eligible to apply. The following table gives the highlights of P.G. courses.

Selection Criteria

The contenders will be judged on the basis of their performance in the Entrance Test, students who will secure the requisite marks in the examination will get admittance to the University after the Counselling, & Group Discussion followed by personal Interview round, in which certificates and degrees produced by the candidates will be evaluated.

The list of candidates selected for admission will be prepared on the basis of aggregate marks of both the components i.e. academic record and & entrance test. 

After admission, the candidate will be required to make a research plan presentation. Weightage for presentation is 35% of the total.

For Ph.D. admission, an entrance test will be conducted for the eligible candidates irrespective of number of applications received, which will be followed by an interview by a committee consisting of the Director, Doctoral Studies & Research, Dean of the faculty concerned, Head of the Department(s) and a domain expert.

The candidate who does not meet the minimum 40% marks in written test, 40% marks in personal interview and 50% marks in aggregate will not be considered for Registration and their admission may be cancelled. Provided however, that the candidates who have passed the National Level Test like UGC/CSIR(JRF) examination / NET / SLET / GATE/teacher fellowship holder, M.Phil etc or its equivalent shall be exempted from appearing in the test and they will be considered deemed to have earned 35% score in the written test.
