JRRSU is a public state university, approved by UGC. JRRSU has more than 60 affiliated colleges offering 93 courses in the field of Education, Arts, Sanskrit, and Science at UG, PG, and Doctorate levels. Admission to various UG and PG courses at JRSSU is granted on the basis of merit scores achieved by the students in the previous qualifying examinations. However, for admissions in JRRSU B.Ed. and M.Ed. the candidates are required to qualify PSST and PSAT respectively with valid scores.
JRRSU offers scholarships to the students so that they can continue their studies without facing any financial hurdles in their ways. The scholarships are offered to the SC/ST category students. Besides this there are also research scholarships available for disabled students and research scholars.
