Singhania University Admissions 2023: Admission form, Last Date, Eligibility, Ph.D. Admissions

Singhania University’s admissions to different B.Tech & Diploma courses are done on the basis of qualifications and personal interview followed by counseling only.

In order to apply for B.Tech programs, applicants need to fill it in & submit it in original, together with specified enrolment fees. The university will not entertain application forms received after the last date and incomplete application forms. They are liable to be rejected outright. Any candidate who has been disqualified or debarred by the University or Board or any other Statutory Board shall not be eligible for admission for the period he/she has been debarred.

Admissions are finalized through personal counseling by CIDC or at the Centre designated for the candidate. The university notifies admission results on the official website only on the dates specified in the schedule of Admission.

Candidates are allowed to change their earlier allotted streams or Centres during counseling. They will have to pay a sum of INR 2500/- as a sliding fee for changing the branch in the same Centre or changing the Centre. The final decision shall be at the sole discretion of CIDC & CIDC’s decision. Student counseling for admissions shall be done at the Centre designated for the candidate by CIDC.

Lateral Entry Admission:

The Regular Traditional/Distance Learning Diplomas at Singhania University is of 3-year duration. The university offers Lateral Entry to Second Year in Diploma programs. It is important for the student to past all or some of the courses in earlier programs from a recognized Board/authority.

Singhania University offers various undergraduate courses in different streams. A candidate seeking admission in an undergraduate course has to successfully complete 10+2 with relevant subjects. The admission is done on the basis of marks scored and merit list as well as entrance test.

MBBS is a 5 year (course work with an internship of 1 year) program. Students with valid NEET scores are only eligible to apply. Admissions are given on the basis of NEET Ranking.

In order to apply for the MBBS program, applicants should go through the draft National Medical Commission Bill prepared by NITI Ayog that is available on the university website. Candidates need to qualify in the National Licentiate Examination as provided in the National Medical Commission draft bill to get registered in the National Medical Register. Students need to deposit the registration fee of INR 5000 in University designated bank accounts and must register on the website.

Singhania University offers an MBA program in 16 specializations. The duration of the program is 2 years. Students are required to either appear for the entrance exam conducted by the university or submit a valid national level exam score.

The program is of 2 years duration. M.Tech program at Singhania University is offered in 13 specializations. Admission to the program is based on both merits in the previous qualifying examination and entrance exam marks.

Singhania University offers a number of post-graduate courses in different streams. Students can apply here for M.A. in education, Masters in Physical Education among others. The university also offers lateral entry and various post-graduate diploma courses as well. Candidates seeking admission will have to have a graduation degree in that particular subject. Admission will be given on merit basis in the entrance exam conducted by the University.

The Singhania University admits a limited number of candidates directly to M.Phil  & Ph.D. Programme. The selection is done either on the basis of viva-voice or written examination or both. The same is decided by University for winter and summer semester in various areas of research. Applications are invited during the following periods:

1) From 1st May to 30th September for admission in the summer semester

2) From 1^StJan to 28^thFeb. for admission in the winter semester

The Academic Council of the university lays down the procedure for admission from time to time. The selection procedure shall include an entrance test as well as an interview. The entrance test could be held online or using any other hi-tech medium as decided by the University. The final selection will be done on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the interview. It shall decide whether the candidate possesses the competence for the proposed research and the ability to pursue and complete the research agenda in time.

Candidates with M.Phil. degree/ NET/JRF in the relevant subject will be exempted from appearing in the  Entrance Test and  Interview. Their admission will be done on the basis of marks obtained in the M.Phil examination in equivalence to the total marks of   Entrance Test and Interview.

Application Process for Ph.D.:

• Visit the university website and go to the link ‘Apply Online’.
• Fill the form online along with the required documents and submit them. Take a print out of form for future use and keep it safe with you as a record.
• There will be an icon to Print Challan. From there you can take a print out of Challan Form.
• Candidates need to pay a fee of INR 5000 in the University Bank Account (account numbers are mentioned on challan as well as on the university website).
• Applicants will have to appear for the entrance examination (schedule will be displayed on the website). You also need to bring along the copy of your online application form & printout of deposit receipt of the Bank challan INR 5000.
• Your student id, which is displayed on the application form, will be your entrance exam id for appearing in the entrance examination.
• The university will publish the results of the entrance examination on their website. Students are advised to keep checking the website from time to time in order to not miss out on any information.
• Once an applicant clears entrance examination they have to deposit the fee of first-year and course work fees in the University Bank Account. The fee has to be paid within one month from the date of the declaration of result. Students can pay the fees through challan- go to the link Bank Challan.

• Duly filled Application Form
• Bank Receipt of the first year fee deposited in the University BankAccount
• Copies of the mark sheets from 10^th to Post Graduation.
• MPhil/NET Clearance certificate (if applicable).
• Once the university receives all the above-mentioned documents, it will allot you permanent Enrolment No. This would be communicated to the student through your student Login ID.
