UNIRAJ Admission 2024: UG, PG, PhD, Courses, Eligibility, Application Form, Dates

The University of Rajasthan also offers admission to PG courses such as M.A, MBA, MJMC, M.Sc, M.Com, M.Tech, etc. These courses come with different specializations related to Arts, Language, and Science. The eligibility and selection criteria for admission is set by the university every year. The following table is given below:

UNIRAJ PG Eligibility Criteria

• The eligibility criteria for master in commerce will be based on the aggregate marks 50% of 55% in the subject of post graduation or its equivalent degree recognised by this university with at least 55% marks in the aggregate.
• Admission to MBA will be done on the basis of 50% marks minimum in aggregate.

UNIRAJ PG Selection Criteria

• Admission into the M.A and M.Sc programme is granted on the basis of the entrance exam conducted by the University, namely - URATPG. Furthermore, weightage is also given to the past academic performance.
• Admission into the PG programme is granted on the basis of entrance examination conducted by the university, namely - URATPG for courses like M.Com, MCA, MJMC.
• Admission into the M.Tech is granted on the basis of GATE entrance examination and on the basis of merit.
• Admission into the MBA programme is granted on the basis of PIM MAT/CAT /CMAT entrance examination.
• Admission to the PG process will be done on the basis of entrance test and on merit basis of examination. The final result of a candidate out of 100 shall be calculated by giving a weightage of 70 marks obtained in the entrance test and weightage of 30 to the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
• There shall be 70 objective type questions carrying one mark each for each subject which includes 60 questions of the related subject and 10 questions on reasoning and logic.

UNIRAJ PG Merit List

The university also offers admission to various PG Diploma & Post PG Diploma courses under its PG departments. The duration of diploma courses is 1 year and comes with all major and minor specializations. The following table is given below:

UNIRAJ PG Diploma Eligibility Criteria 

The eligibility criteria for post graduate diploma will be based on the aggregate marks 50% of 55% in the subject of post graduation or its equivalent degree recognised by this university with at least 55% marks in the aggregate.

UNIRAJ PG Diploma Selection Criteria

• For Post Diploma Courses, selection will be done on the basis of merit in the qualifying degree and for PG Diploma programs, score in URATPG Entrance and marks in the qualifying degree will be considered.
• Admissions into the Post PG Diploma courses are granted on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination.

Rajasthan University also offers professional courses like M.Phil and Ph.D. The selection is done on the basis of entrance examinations conducted by the central government as well as the state government. The following table is given below:

UNIRAJ M.Phil and Ph.D Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for Phd/M.Phil will be based on the aggregate marks 50% of 55% in the subject of post graduation or its equivalent degree recognised by this university with at least 55% marks in the aggregate.

UNIRAJ M.Phil/Ph.D Selection Criteria

• Admission to M.Phil courses is done on the basis of marks scored in UNIRAJ MPAT, conducted by the university. For Ph.D programmes, admission is done in two phases, Phase I and Phase II.
• Phase I is for the candidates who will be exempted from UNIRAJ MPAT and Phase II is for the candidates who will be selected through UNIRAJ MPAT in case of remaining seats in the respective subject after the completion of Phase I.
