Ans. Some of the factors considered in determining the IIM Trichy cutoff include the total number of candidates who applied for the entry test and the difficulty level of the entrance exam. According to the IIM Trichy cutoff, the qualifying marks may be different for each programme.

Ans. In CAP 2025, 10 new baby IIMs are participating in the selection process for MBA Admission. Therefore, CAP 2025 interview shortlisted candidates will be called for a common selection process. The total number of candidates selected for CAP PI is expected to be around 20,000.

Ans. As WAT is discontinued for 2023, PI interviews will be conducted online mode. The date and time of IIM CAP PI for shortlisted candidates will be communicated soon through email. Preparation for the interview round must include mock interviews based on basic previous interview experiences, “About Yourself”, academic record-based questions, field or work experience-based, “Why MBA?”, and general knowledge. One must have a positive attitude toward the candidates to deal with the question. Mastering body language, soft skills, and honesty is a must to be the top performer in CAP PI.

Ans. Yes, Candidates will get extra points if they don't belong to an Engineering & Technology background. 1 credit point will be given to the students from Arts, Management, Science, etc. in comparison to 0.5 credit score to the students from the Engineering and Technology branch.

Ans. Yes, the candidates will have to go through a Common Admission Process for all the nine 10 IIM under CAP 2025. They do not have to sit for the personal interview for each IIM individually. This slight change will help students to perform much better in Personal Interviews have also been introduced. 

Ans. IIM Trichy PI 2025 is conducted through the online method. IIM Trichy is now a part of the new IIM CAP.
