IIT Madras M.S Civil Engineering: Fees 2025, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

Before registering for any of the courses, the candidates must first register for the requisite Entrance Exam via the official exam authority.

For Undergraduate Courses

candidates can apply by following the given steps:

• Visit the official website of JEE Main.
• Click on the apply link at the home page.
• Register with a valid e-mail and mobile number.
• Download the information bulletin which will be available on the next page.
• Read all the instructions and click on the “proceed” tab.
• Fill all the mandatory details.
• Upload the scanned copies of the documents: thumb impression, photograph, and signature.
• The application fee of INR. 1000/- (INR. 500/- for Girls) can be paid through Debit/Credit Cards or e-challan.

For Postgraduate Courses-

• Visit the official website of the institute.
• Click on the link- “M.Tech. Registration” 
• Register and create login credentials.
• Fill in the application form:
  • Personal details
  • Academic details
• Upload the necessary documents
• Pay the fee of INR. 500/-
• Submit the form

Documents to be uploaded-

1. GATE scorecard
2. Recent passport-sized photograph
3. Nationality certificate
4. Disability certificate
5. Caste certificate
6. Grade Cards (10+2+3)

For MBA- 

Visit the Common Admission Portal for the MBA Program.

• Click on New User Registration.
• Enter the Name, Email id, and Mobile Number to register.
• Login and proceed with the application form.
• Select the institute
• Enter the CAT score
• Enter personal details
• Mention the academic qualifications
• Followed by work experience
• Write the Statement of Purpose
• Review the application
• Upload the necessary documents
• Pay the fee: INR. 1600/- (INR. 800/- for SC/ST candidates)
• Accept the declaration and submit the form.

For Ph.D.

• Visit the official website.
• Click on the “Research Programs”
• Log in to the “Research Admission Portal”
• Go to “Apply to Department”
• Register and fill in the application form.
• Pay the requisite fee of INR. 100/-
• Upload the necessary documents
• Submit the form.
