KAHE Coimbatore MCA program is based on a Choice-Based Credit System.
It is offered for a duration of 2 years, i.e. 4 semesters.
The curriculum of the MCA program is categorized into two parts i.e., 85% of core courses and 15% of elective courses and project work.
A regular MCA student has to secure a total of 87 credits.

KAHE Coimbatore MCA Program Structure

Attendance: More than 75% of attendance is required to appear in the End Semester Examination. Students who have less than 75% of attendance shall not be permitted to appear in the semester exam.
Core Course: Students get theoretical and practical knowledge under the core course and they are required to give examinations at the end of the semester.
Elective Course/Subjects: Students have to choose any of the subjects/elective courses from the list of elective courses mentioned in the curriculum.
Project work: Students are required to work in the Department or in Industry, Institute, or any other Organization during the fourth semester. They have to prepare a project report of the same and submit it to the college.
Internship: Students have to undergo an internship for the duration of 15 days at the end of the IInd semester.
