Karunya University PhD Admission 2023 is open for Even semester. Admission to the program is based on the entrance exam and Interview conducted by Karunya University. Karunya University offers PhD courses in Full time & Part time (External & Internal) mode under even & odd semester scheme. The University offers PhD Courses in 38 streams. These courses are available under different schools in which Karunya University provide admissions. The minimum duration for a Full time PhD program is 3 years and for a Part time PhD program is 4 years.

Karunya University Ph.D Eligibility Criteria

• Master’s degree of any recognized university or any other qualification recognized as equivalent thereto in the fields of study notified from time to time by Karunya University.
• Minimum eligibility is 60% marks or equivalent CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average). However, 5% relaxation is given to the candidates belonging to scheduled caste / scheduled tribe. 

Karunya University Ph.D Admission Process

Firstly, Interested candidates may apply for the PhD program through the official website of University. Applications will be viewed and shortlisting will be done. Priority will be given to the students with good Academic performance, Publications (Papers presented in conferences), Project work & Patents, and Experience. Shortlisted students will be called for written test by Karunya University. Written test comprises of two sections; Part one is General Aptitude & Part second will consist of questions related to Technical Aptitude required for research. Students who will qualify the test will be called for Interview process. Candidates will be selected based on scores obtained in the entrance exam and Interview.

• Visit the official website of the University.
• Click on the ‘Programmes’ option on the Top right of the Home Page.
• Click on ‘Research’ option under programmes.
• Click ‘Apply now’.
• You will be directed to the Login page.
• Now choose the ‘Programme Category’ and then choose the desired Programme.
• Click ‘Login’ button.
• Application form will open. Fill out the required fields by providing apt Information.
• Upload all the necessary documents.
• Submit the Application form.
• Pay the application fee of INR 1000/- (For Indian Nationals) and $250 (For Foreign Candidates). 
• Take the printout of your application.
• Click on ‘Logout’ button.
