IIIT Allahabad Ph.D. Eligibility Criteria

1. The candidate should have employment and his/her area of the proposed research should correspond to that of his/her profession (job). 
2. A candidate should have M.Sc./M.Tech./M.S./MBA or any Master Degree in the concerned subject or any other degree recognized as equivalent thereto with an overall minimum of 60% of marks (CGPA of 6.5 in 10 point scale).

Ph.D. Selection Criteria

Admission is provided on the basis of marks in the qualifying examination followed by an interview. Preference will be given to candidates with GATE/CSIR NET/UGC NET scores.
