I chose this course with my future insights as to what I may pursue further my course is btech in cse with specialization in Ai and DS. The students are divided in batches here so there are max 30 students per batch the faculty here is good there teaching method varies according to the type of student they are teaching we are free to ask questions at any point of time they never deny to answer them, they are always ready to teach, the term exam were good as there were question to test the student's understanding of the topic taught if the student has attended lecture then it was quite easy to pass them
I am a CSE Student with specialization in Cyber Security as I have always been interested in this stream. The Faculty to student Ratio in my batch is 15:1 which is one of the best things about the education curriculum. The Faculty is also highly qualified and are one of the best mind of India. The teaching method is Innovation and open. The term exams are of moderate level and can be easily aced with the guidance of the faculty.
I chose the CSE core course because I have always wanted to direct my efforts into the corporate world be it finance or technology, this is what has always interested me. The faculty-student ratio is 1:30 (1 faculty for 30 students). All the teachers here are Ph.D. scholars and they do not take our studies lightly. They teach patiently and are always available for doubts. They also take our attendance seriously and there is an 80% attendance rule. We have 3 exams per semester (t1,t2, and t3) and if one has studied religiously then he or she can also pass them.
I want to become a Manager in top MNCs so I adopted this course. There is having 50:1 ratio means per 50 students there is one teacher. The qualification of the teacher is a Ph.D. There are 2 CTS 4 assignments and one pre-university exam in each semester.
I chose CSE because of its industry demands and also the several off-campus opportunities. The faculty-student ratio is nearly 1:30 or 1:40 something around. Most of the faculty are PhD holders and that is good I'd say because it depends on person to person how they perceive them. Exams are mostly held every month within 4-5 days and they're not so difficult to pass. There are no mid-semester and end-sem exams over here rather there are T1 T2 T3 P1 P2 (tests and practicals).

I took admission in computer science as it is in present demand and I have an interest in tech too. faculty over here are well qualified their teaching method is quite impressive and they listen to us whenever we reach them.
I was into computers from 8 standards that's why opted for cse but as you go inside you will find that more than 80 per cent of college is their in cse so you can't say that there is any superiority for cse or other branches. But in spite of the students teachers and faculty members here who are so educated and literate will guide you in the best way possible without any hesitation. Every class is well-conditioned on the top of the hills you will get the best view and whiteboards and smart boards are also available. Exams are conducted every 2 months in T-1, T-2, and T-3 and the sum of all must be 15 for you to get a pass
The curriculum is average. some of the faculty and their teaching method is good. There were 3 exams that happened in a semester and were not very difficult to pass. Apart from that two lab exams happen in a semester.
I opted for computer science and engineering because of its high demand in future and I have also read the reviews about this course over here they are quite satisfactory. the faculty of this course is well qualified over here
It depends upon what you think you will pursue as a career. Generally, there are transparent ways into monitoring whether or not an institute is really worthy, at least when considering the CSE department.
Categories | CSE at Jaypee Noida | CSE at NIT Goa |
Course Fee | 9.22 lakh | 5.38 akh |
Highest CTC | 20 LPA | 14 LPA |
Average CTC | 10 LPA | 7 PA |
Recruiting Companies | Adobe, Accenture, Cognizant, KPMG, etc. | Capgemini, Oracle, Wipro, IBM, etc. |
Therefore, these features go on to provide more compact comparisons among institutes and can possibly help you decide which institute is worthy. However, it is best to also research more about the prospects each institute shares; and how they are in terms of placement, faculty, etc.
Thapar University in all aspects is a lot better than JIIT. But I am not quite aware of the EIC branch. You can interact with ex-students of the institute online, to get a better idea about the course. If you think it will be a better choice, go for it.
Categories | EIC at Thapar University | CSE at JIIT Noida |
Course Fee | 13.23 lakh | 9.22 lakh |
Highest CTC | 18 LPA | 12-16 LPA |
Average CTC | 6 LPA | 4-5 LPA |
Recruiting Companies | TCS, Tech Mahindra, Phillips, L&T, etc. | Amazon, Adobe, Morgan Stanley, ZS Associates, etc. |
Thapar University will be a much better choice than JIIT, as it is popular among students and professionals as well. Any branch at Thapar will prove to be more valuable than CSE at JIIT Noida.
CSE at JIIT is clearly better than ECE at Thapar. You must have a minimum JEE rank of 51,000 to get CSE at JIIT Noida.
There are no state quota, caste quota, or NRI quota at JIIT but Thapar offers a 50% quota for Punjab state students. This results in a superior quality of students at JIIT Noida than Thapar. Due to quotas and an increase in the number of seats, anyone can get admission at Thapar University.
If a student has a 300,000 rank in JEE Main, he will not be able to gain a seat anywhere, but if he is from Punjab, he may be able to secure a place in Electrical Engineering in Thapar. This explains how Thapar's situation has deteriorated.
JIIT will offer you great exposure which is actually required in CSE with regular industrial visits. CSE has more scope in terms of placements than ECE.
It would be advisable to choose the branch as per your interest first. And then if you figure out that you have an interest in civil engineering, you should go to Thapar. On the other hand, if you have an interest in computer science then you should go to Jaypee Noida.

Being a student of Jaypee myself, I can say that Thapar’s placement records are better, especially recently.
Pursuing B.Tech from a renowned college is important as it makes or breaks your career. Choosing one among the above will be a good option as all are good in curriculum and other factors. Although I don’t know much about it I can share with you some details as one of my friends did pursue his B.Tech from Sharda University.
He told me that, Sharda University is better for B.Tech in CSE. It has skilled, well-trained, and experienced faculties. Moreover, Sharda University is considered t be one of the best Universities in Delhi-NCR.
Again, the placement at Sharda University for Computer Science Engineering is quite good. Many companies such as IBM, Tech Mahindra, TCS, HCL Technologies, Infosys, etc come for recruitment. Placement with salary ranging from 3LPA to 17 LPA has been given to B.Tech CSE Undergraduate Students.
Other than this, the infrastructure of Sharda University is quite good. It has a proper lab with various advanced technologies.
MAIT will be the best option among these for a BTech in Computer Science/IT. It offers good learning resources to students. The institute has good infrastructure and library facilities. It has a good placement record as well. According to the recent placement highlights, MAIT Delhi average package is around INR 4.5 LPA. The highest package goes up to INR 40 LPA. TCS, Amazon, Infosys, etc. are among the major recruiters to visit the campus placement.
There is no surety about JIIT Noida, but- BIET JHANSI is a government college and ranks at 3 in UPTU. It has a very large campus with all facilities and placements are also good. While JIIT is a private institute. So, there is no comparison between BIET and JIIT. As we know that there are a number of private colleges in every nook and corner but government colleges are rare.
Here are some highlights of the CS program at BIET Jhansi.
Infrastructure:
On campus, you will have ample resources to enhance your coding skills like free LAN. You can also count on the seniors to provide useful hacks but it does not include the faculty.
Placement:
Here is a brief overview of the CS program offered by JIIT Noida AND BIET Jhansi.
Basis |
JIIT Noida |
BIET Jhansi |
Fee Structure for Btech |
INR 2.37 LPA |
INR 61,800 |
Highest CTC |

Average CTC |
INR 7.4 LPA |
INR 4.5 LPA |
Major Recruiters |
Adobe, DE Shaw, Amazon, Morgan Stanley, etc. |
Adobe, Optum, TCS, Wipro, and Byjus. |
Hence, looking at the above table, it can be said that JIIT Noida is a way better choice over BIET Jhansi. But CS at BIET Jhansi is only advisable if you love coding. Otherwise, there’s a high chance that you will remain jobless by your final year.
