BA offered by Lucknow University is three years six-semester program
A total of 31 specializations are offered for BA. Choice of subjects differs in BA and BA (Hons).
For Hons subjects such as Ancient Indian History, Economics, English Hindi, and Political Science, the intake capacity is 60 while Psychology Hons intake is 40.
For BA (Hons) there will be one Honors subject and two subsidiary subjects.
For BA, students have to select three subjects from different groups and cannot opt for more than two literature subjects. Candidates opting for Statistics have to choose Mathematics as well.

Candidate should have passed Intermediate or equivalent examination from the recognized board of Education
For BA (hons) the minimum marks required for General and Other Backward Classes candidates is 60% and for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes is 55%.
For BA, the minimum marks necessary for General and Other Backward Classes candidates is 40% of marks and for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes is 33% in Intermediate or equivalent examination.

Lucknow University BA Admission Criteria

University of Lucknow provides admissions in faculty of Arts, Commerce, Law, Science and Fine Art through (UGET) Undergraduate University Test. After the entrance test, the University will release scores obtained by students and prepare a merit list. A copy of the merit list will be made available on the official website of the University. Fees deposited at the time of admission will not be refunded in any case.

Candidates who are appearing for the qualifying examination, i.e. 10+2 in the current year, can apply for admission but he/she must fulfill all the eligibility requirements at the day of Counseling.

Fill the application form online and pay the application fee of INR 800 (INR 1800 with late fee). SC/ST candidates need to pay INR 400 (late fee 1400) at the time of application.
