Jadavpur University M.Pharm Admission 2023 is open now. Selection for admission is based on marks secured in the GPAT. Jadavpur University M.Pharm Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates seeking admission to M.Pharma course must have obtained a minimum of 60% marks or must have a minimum grade point average(GPA) of 6.75 on a scale of 10 in the B.Pharma examination
• Candidates belonging to SC/ST category must have secured a minimum of 45% marks or must have a GPA of 5.25
• Candidates belonging to OBC Both A & B (NCL) category must have secured a minimum of 54% marks or must have a GPA of 6.15
• Usually, for admission into the M.Pharm program, the university accept scores obtained in GPAT (Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test) 
• Sponsored Candidates willing to take admission must satisfy the minimum eligibility criteria along with having a ‘No Objection Certificate’ from the employer plus a minimum work experience of one year

Tie-Breaking Rule

For candidates securing the same position in the merit list, the following parameters will be followed to resolve the tie.

• Initially marks in the last qualifying examination will be considered
• This is followed by percentage aggregate marks secured in 10+2. Next, percentage aggregate marks of the secondary or equivalent examination will be considered
• This is followed by the date of birth. Older candidates are given preference

• Fill in all the mandatory details
• Attach all the required information
• Click on the submit button
• Pay the Fees online through the SBI Collect system using Credit Card/Debit Card/ Net banking after 48 hours of form fill up.
• After the successful payment candidates have to submit the print out of the online application along with a photocopy of the online payment receipt downloaded from SBI and other testimonials as mentioned below to the office of the Ph. D. Cell, Faculty of Arts (Subarna Jayanti Bhavan, Ground floor, Jadavpur University Main campus, Kolkata 700032).

Jadavpur University M.Pharm Course Details

The duration of the program is 2 years consisting of four semesters, each of six months duration with thesis work and vice voce in the last semester evaluation.

Jadavpur University M.Pharm Placements 

Placements are limited after completing M.Pharm from this university. Though few pharmaceutical companies visit the campus but candidates opting for this course are mostly research focused and thus after completing this course opt for a doctoral degree from some Indian university or foreign university.
