Rabindrabharati University, renowned for its eminent faculty and distinguished artists from West Bengal, offers a structured admissions process conducted entirely online. Applicants must achieve at least 50% in their 12th standard board exams and pay a ₹250 application fee. Fine arts and visual arts applicants undergo written, practical, or interview-based entrance exams, with admit cards accessible online. Successful candidates pay a ₹1665 fee and provide necessary documents for verification. The fee structure includes an enrollment fee of approximately ₹1400 and examination fees of ₹700 per semester. Semester fees are ₹450 for even semesters and ₹1465 for odd semesters, excluding the first, which has a ₹1665 admission fee. Despite the feasible fee structure, classes are irregular initially, and syllabi may not be completed on time. Although the university lacks a dedicated placement cell, it offers post-graduation internships based on merit. M.Phil students receive a stipend of around ₹7,000 INR, while guest lecturers earn approximately ₹15,000 INR. Placement opportunities mainly benefit PhD scholars, with graduates often pursuing artistic careers over traditional jobs. Networking within the music industry is facilitated, aiding graduates in becoming vocalists. The university does not formally provide internships. Several government-funded scholarships, including the Swami Vivekananda Merit cum Means Scholarship and the Kanyashree Scholarship, are available, though the university does not offer independent scholarships or loans.
