IIT Jodhpur MS Program Highlights

The M.S. (by Research) Program is the flagship program from CBSA on new and emerging areas of brain-inspired next-generation AI and its application in different domains of brain sciences.
This program aims to impart the student's state-of-the-art knowledge and training to design brain-inspired Next-generation AI architectures with real-world and industry-oriented applications, e.g., building Cognitive Machines, language technology, computational vision, brain connectomes, language and speech, brain-computer interface, multisensory and multimodal experience, and neuromorphic computing.
The students will be trained to understand and apply principles of brain science for the development of AI. Brain science itself is being transformed by incorporating new emerging technologies to develop innovative tools to understand brain functions and their applications.

IIT Jodhpur MS Eligibility Criteria

A 4-Year B Tech, or M.Sc. or its equivalent Master’s Degree (5 years duration), with a First Class. The qualifying degree should contain some programming and mathematics components.
At least 60% marks in aggregate (of all the years/semesters) or 6.00 CGPA on a 10-point scale or equivalent in the qualifying degree. A relaxation of 5% in marks (i.e. minimum of 55%) or equivalent in CGPA (i.e. min. 5.50 on a 10-point scale) for the SC/ST/PWD (Persons with Disabilities) candidates.

IIT Jodhpur MS Financial Assistantship

Selected candidates with a valid GATE/ /UGC/CSIR/CEED qualifier (for disciplines in which these exams are not conducted, there will be an admission test for eligibility for an assistantship) or an equivalent national exam score may get a fellowship based on funding available, and as per Ministry of Education, Govt. of India rules. MS students will be eligible for a top-up amount of up to Rs. 20000 in addition to the MoE or any other funding agency’s assistantship depending on the availability of the project and the performance of the student in the course and research work.
