NIT Manipur BTech Admission 2024 registrations are underway. The institute offers a 4 year UG program i.e., BTech as its flagship course and this course is offered in 06 different specialisations. NIT Manipur grants admission to its BTech program based on the JEE Mains scores and further, JoSAA counselling. Interested applicants can now apply online on jeemain.nta.nic. since the application process is currently open. 

Furthermore, NIT Manipur BTech 2024 admissions will be based on JEE Mains 2024. JEE Mains is expected to take place in two phases, i.e., in the month of January and April. JEE Mains 2024 first attempt exam date is scheduled on the last week of January 2024 (tentative).

NIT Manipur BTech Eligibility Criteria

Aspiring candidates must have a Passed 10+2 or any relevant course approved as per the guidelines of NTA. The candidate should have secured a minimum of 75% in the above exam. For SC/ST, the minimum qualifying mark is 65%.

Admission to NIT Manipur BTech program requires All India Rank in JEE Main exam. Candidates qualifying the examination participate in the JoSAA counselling for final seat allocation.

NIT Manipur B. Tech: How to Apply?

Each student who applies for a B.Tech at NIT Manipur will be given a faculty advisor to help them with the registration process. However, the following steps must be carefully followed to apply for the course:

• Fill out the application form on the NIT Manipur website and upload all documents in the form.
• 2. E-payment methods can be used to pay the application fee of INR 2500 (INR 1250 for SC/ST and PWD applicants). Additionally, INR 1000 is needed and should be paid as the CSAB counseling cost using SBI e-Challan.
• The documents will be verified by the Institute officials.

• Hardcopy of Payment Challan.
• Class 10th Mark sheet.
• Class 12th Mark sheet.

• Graduation certificate.
• Birth Date Certificate.
• Category/ Community Certificate.
• Two photographs of passport size.

The candidate will receive a Roll No. after completing the admissions procedure successfully. Candidates will be notified of their Roll No. via email and directions for classes and enrolment through the faculty adviser will be sent.

*For GEN/EWS/OBC/SC/ST/PH category students having family income less than 1 lakh (Tuition fee is totally exempted)

*For GEN/EWS/OBC/SC/ST/PH category students having family income between 1 lakh to 5 lakhs per annum (Tuition fee is two-third of tuition fees i.e., Rs 41,667)

NIT Manipur placements for the year 2023 have been concluded. A total of 37 recruiters participated in the placement drive and made a total of 147 offers to the graduating students. NIT Manipur highest placement stood at INR 47 LPA, which was offered by Amazon. The second-highest package was offered by Discover and Edfora. which is INR 27 LPA. The highest number of offers were made by Tata Elxsi with 11 offers, followed by Intellipat with 10 offers, and L&T ECC and Deloitte with 9 offers.
