Course Details

PES University offers a full-time MCA program of 3-year duration at the PG level. The MCA program is a 3-year course divided into six semesters each of six months duration consisting of theoretical and practical examinations. Students must qualify both the written and practical examinations for clearing individual semester examinations.

The minimum eligibility is to have a bachelor's degree with h50% marks.

PES University MCA Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must graduate in any discipline from any recognized University having a minimum of 50% aggregate marks with either Mathematics or Statistics or Computer Science or Computer programming or Business Mathematics or Business Statistic as elective subjects. PES University MCA Exam Pattern

Admission to MCA course in this university is strictly based on scores secured in PESSAT/ PGCET entrance examination. The exam pattern includes a total number of questions, marks distribution, marking scheme, and other related details about the exam.

Ques. Can I opt for a PES University MCA course directly without appearing for the PESSAT entrance examination?

Ans. Admission into MCA course is based on performance in PESSAT entrance or PGCET entrance conducted by the Govt of Karnataka. Every year the university conducts national wide entrance examination (PESSAT) for admission into MCA course during August which is followed by counselling. The university does not encourage direct admission into any of such courses.
