Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Ananthapur (JNTUA) was established under the Act of 2008 by the Andhra Pradesh Government when JNTU was separated into four erstwhile universities. UG and PG Boards of Studies of all faculties have been constituted separately involving as many as 200 experts from the Premier institutions, Industry, Constituent and affiliated colleges of JNTUA.The university admits students through EAMCET (for UG courses), PGECET (for PG courses) and ICET (for MBA).

- The selection to the M.Tech courses is based on the candidates rank in Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (PGECET).
- The seat allotment is made by Convener, PGECET as per the stipulated rules of A.P State Government.
- The selections are also made through the candidate’s rank in GATE.
- For MBA & MCA is based up on Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET) conducted by the State Government.

Selection Procedure

I took the Ecet entrance exam into btech for diploma students, the government provides the details of the Ecet exam and we should qualify with marks to get a seat into our desired college and every college has cutoff marks.

Anyone can join from any site but they have to attend jee mains and any site level exam like Emcet in Andra Pradesh in India. Based on this score we will get admission to Ashoka College. If we are not qualified in that exam then we have to go for management seats.

I got 8003 rank in AP Eamcet. So in round 3 of counseling, I got Computer Science in Vidyanikethan College. I got a full fee reimbursement from the AP government. Which is provided by Shri. YS Jagan Mohan Reddy garu.

Candidates need to apply for the entrance exams that offer admission to this course. I took an entrance exam called emacet. For every student who wants to join engineering, they can write this exam and if they qualify they can get fees reimbursement with some conditions. I got it because my family have a ration card. And in my house, there are no government job people. That's why I got fee reimbursement and I qualified in that exam with a good rank. Actually, every state has this entrance exam. The eligibility of the course is to pass the intermediate Whether you qualify in the entrance exam or not you can join the course through management seats by paying a full fee. We can find the entrance application form on an online site called apcet and through that we can pay the exam fee and we can get the hall ticket and examination dates. I'm happy that I'm studying with a low fee structure and I'm satisfied with the admission process too.

The minimum qualification in eamcet exam is enough for joining in SITAMS (AI) course. Also, we need 45%marks in 12th grade. The Application form is everything provided in college. There is no fee we need to pay for free seat members. There is no improvement needed in the admission process.

The eligibility for the course was 10+2 and I joined through management quota. And the process was amazing. If we are eligible for emcet rank we get a seat in AITS. It's a wonderful college in Rajampeta. The faculties were good.
