Vivekanand Global University (VGU) was established in 2012. The university provides Diploma, UG, PG and Ph.D. courses in various fields of Law, International Trade and Commerce, Design, Management, Computer Science and Applications, Engineering & Technology, Basic & Applied Sciences and Architecture & Planning. These courses are offered in 7 constituent colleges of the university. 

The University conducts national level entrance exam VGUCET for admission to its various UG, PG and Diploma programmes and to provide provide scholarships to meritorious and deserving candidates. VGUCET 2023 will be conducted all across India and the examination will be conducted in Online mode (Computer/ Mobile Based Test) .

VGU offers full-time B.Tech and B.Arch programs. The duration of the B.Tech program is 4 Years and B.Arch is offered for a duration of 5 years. In the case of B.Tech, a valid JEE Main/Uni-Gauge or VGUCET score is mandatory. B.Arch admission is based on NATA OR JEE Main (Paper-2).

VGU offers various undergraduate programs such as BBA, LL.B, B.Sc, B.Arch, B.Com, B.A and BCA in various disciplines. The duration of these programs is 3 years. 

An entrance exam viz. Design Aptitude Test (DE-CODE) will be conducted for admission to the Bachelor of Design (B.Des.) offered in 4 specializations. The Exam will be held online only.

• Paper 1:- Aptitude Test (60 min) – It will consist of multiple-choice questions on the basis of Quantitative Ability, Communication Ability, English Comprehension, Analytical Ability, General Knowledge and Current Affairs.
• Paper 2:- Creativity Test (120 min) – It will comprise subjective questions which will be answered in visual (graphical representation) or written formats.

For admission to B.Design, candidates can apply online through an application form available at the official website. 

VGU offers postgraduate programs such as M.Tech, MBA, MA, M.Sc and LL.M. Candidates looking for PG courses should have completed a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject.

• For professional courses like MBA, the candidates have to appear in CAT, CMAT, XAT or MAT followed by Group Discussion and Interview.
• Admission to the M.Tech program requires a good score in GATE.
• Admission to M.Sc and M.Des is done on the basis of AIFSET/NEET.
• The university conducts its own entrance test i.e. PGAT to offer admission in other PG courses.

Note: Candidates having valid GATE are exempted from the entrance test of the university.

At the Doctoral level, VGU offers a Ph.D. program in 17 streams in full-time as well as part-time modes. A master’s degree with 55% marks in aggregate can apply for admission. Final admission is granted as per the entrance test conducted by the university followed by an entrance test. Due weightage will also be given to candidates’ academic record, work experience (if any) and statement of purpose (SOP).

Merit-Based Scholarship: The scholarship is given on academic fee:

Note(s):

• Merit-based scholarship will be applicable for the complete duration of the course unless stated otherwise in the admission letter.
• A merit scholarship is offered only as part of the academic fee and is not applicable to any other component of the fee structure. 

Alumni Based Scholarship: 25% on the annual academic fee.

• Applicable to all alumni and wards of staff members of sister concern institutes namely- SKIT, VIT, VTS- Jaipur/Nagaur/Bikaner, MEC and SKIP Bikaner. 
• Only staff members who have completed two years in the above-listed institutes shall be eligible.

Sports Scholarship

Special Scholarship: 10% on the annual application fee:

• Applicable to wards of Defense personnel, Ex-serviceman, para-military services, war widows, gallantry award holders.
• Applicable to students who have NCC, NSS or Scouts certification at the school level. 
• Applicable to wards Corona Warriors.

Government Scholarship: as per the applicable scheme 

• Scholarships under this category are offered by various state and central government schemes by departments like Samaj Kalyan Vibhag or Social Justice and Empowerment department, etc.
• The students are expected to apply for the appropriate scholarships and intimate the university scholarship cell about the same, for due correspondence to the relevant authorities.
