Rayat Bahra University Mohali Course Admissions 2025: Dates, Fees, Eligibility, Application Process, Selection Criteria

Rayat Bahra University offers B.A, B.Sc., B.Tech, B. Com, BCA, B.Pharm., B.Voc., BHM, BHMCT, BBA, and LLB degree courses at the undergraduate level.

To apply for B.Tech. and B.Sc. courses, candidates must have passed Class XII or equivalent exam from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and/or Biology as subjects with minimum 50% marks. Students must have passed Class XII in Science or Commerce with Mathematics or Statistics with minimum 50% marks to be eligible for other courses.

For LLB program, candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in any subject with at least 50% marks. Admission to all the undergraduate courses is done on the basis of marks scored in Class XII and/or Personal Interview.

Key Points for Undergraduate Admissions:

• For BBA, BHM, BHMC, B. Voc. and LLB courses, candidates should have English as a compulsory subject in 10+2.
• Candidates applying for B.Tech program should have appeared in JEE Main.
• Those applying for Honours program must have cleared Class XII with a minimum of 65% marks.

Rayat Bahra University offers B.Tech + M.Tech dual degree course in 5 specializations, B.Tech + MBA dual degree course in Civil Engineering, BA LLB, B. Com LLB and B.A. + M.A. dual degree course in 9 specializations.

Candidates applying for B.Tech + M.Tech and B.Tech + MBA dual degree program must have at least cleared his/her Class XII with Physics, Chemistry Mathematics and/or Biology as mandatory subjects with minimum 50% marks.

Those applying for LLB and B.A. + M.A. dual degree program must have passed 10+2 or equivalent system from any recognized Central/State Board in any discipline with minimum 50% aggregate marks.

Key Points:

• Admission is done on the basis of marks scored in the Qualifying examination and Personal Interview conducted by the university.
• Candidates of Home State are given preference.

Rayat Bahra University offers MA, M.Tech, M.Sc., MCA, MBA, MHMCT, MTTM, LL.M. and M.Pharma degree courses at the postgraduate level.

Candidates applying for Postgraduate degree program at must have graduation/bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject(s) or an equivalent qualification with a minimum aggregate of 50% or equivalent CGPA to be eligible to apply for the postgraduate degree program.

For M.Tech, M.Sc and MCA program, candidates must have Bachelor’s degree in B.E./B.Tech, B.Sc. and BCA respectively with 55% marks in aggregate. Admission to all the postgraduate courses is done on the basis of marks scored in the Qualifying examination and Personal Interview conducted by the university.

Key Points for PG Admissions:

• Candidates can also apply for M.Tech program on the basis of GATE Score.
• Final year graduate students can also apply.

Rayat Bahra University also offers Diploma courses in 8 specialisations and PG Diploma in Pharma Management. Candidates must have passed his/her Class XII with Physics, Chemistry Mathematics and/or Biology as mandatory subjects with a minimum 50% aggregate marks.

Selection is done on the basis of the marks in the qualifying examination and Personal Interview.

Rayat Bahra University also offers PhD courses. To be eligible to apply for PhD degree, candidates must have a master’s degree in the relevant subject(s) with a minimum aggregate of 60% or equivalent CGPA.

Candidates will be called in for a Research Aptitude Test and Personal Interview conducted by the university. Based on the applicants’ performance in this test, they will be selected for the program.

Key Points:

• All SC/ST candidates are eligible for the relaxation of 5%.
• Candidates who have cleared the M.Phil coursework in the university with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade 'B' are eligible to apply. Those who have successfully completed M.Phil degree/M.Phil dissertation and the viva voce is pending will be eligible to proceed to do research work leading to the PhD Degree in the University.
