BIT Lalpur Admissions

Candidates applying for BBA and BCA should have passed 10+2 examinations with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from a recognized board.
Admission to BBA and BCA is done based on merit in the qualifying examination.
Candidates applying for MBA should have passed 10+2+3 with a minimum of 50% aggregate in any relevant stream from a recognized university are considered eligible for admission.
Admission to MBA is done based on a valid score in CMAT/ CAT/ XAT/ MAT.
For MCA, candidates should have passed the BBA program with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks from a recognized university listed under UGC/AIU.
Admission to MCA is done based on BIT MCA conducted by the Institution.
For M.Sc., candidates should have passed B.Sc. degree with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks are considered eligible for admission.
Admission to the M.Sc. is done based on marks secured in the qualifying examination.

Central Library- The central library was established in 1955 which has a collection of text and reference books, journals, e-journals, online databases, newspapers, and magazines providing all necessary information to the students, staff, and faculty of the institute.

For the purpose of graduation, this college is very good in the area where it exists.
We need to do the project in the fifth and sixth semester based on the research work and conducting surveys on our own.
Not all the students are provided with internships from the college, and some of them have to find a company of their own.
If you want, you can obtain it through various government schemes that the college accepts.
The library structure is up to par, as all the books related to academics and other programs are available. For example, BCA students can find books on programming languages such as Java, C, Python, and C++ to enhance their skills.
There is no college hostel, but the hostels and PGs nearby the college are really nice.
The college has a good environment with security provisions and good teaching for professional courses such as BBA, which drove me to take admission to this college and also the reason why I opted for this course.

There are no scholarships provided by the college. Instead, the Jharkhand government offers a scheme called e Kalyan, which provides financial assistance to students belonging to ST, SC, and OBC categories. Under this scheme, students are given an amount ranging from 15k to 20k per year. I am aware that this amount is quite low.
There is an annual fest in the main Mesra campus, not in the extension center, and it is solely your decision to visit it.
The college is not coed; there are separate classes for boys and girls. There is no canteen on the campus. It is quite small, with no park or ground for sports to be played. Additionally, the building is also too small.

For admission, the college has a proper cut-off and eligibility criteria that are a must to be fulfilled. For example: Having min of 50% in secondary education from a recognized board is required and so on. No entrance exams for BCA students. Once the application form is submitted, the students can check via the official website if they are selected or not. There are a few benefits as well based on your home location. It is overall a 3 years course. You need to visit the extension center for the completion of your admission process. Original documents are verified and backlogs or any career gaps are checked as well. You have to be well prepared with the documents and a draft as well for registration. Once registered you will be alloted with your student ID. The application process is pretty smooth and way easy and requires no modifications from my point of view. There is a privilege for home state quota and for students who had done their 12th boards in Jharkhand state but domicile is not a must
