Both colleges are quite good. My sister is currently pursuing her CSE from BIT Patna so here are some crucial insights you must have a look at.

CSE at BIT Patna is quite impressive keeping in mind that the placement scenario in this college is better than most colleges of the same tier. Almost every student of BIT Patna gets a fair chance to seat in the placement of the Main campus, i.e. BIT Mesra Ranchi and many of them get placed too.
The job profiles and packages are quite lucrative with an average package of around 6 lakh for CSE in BIT Patna.
However, BIT Patna stands a little expensive as compared to LNCT Bhopal. It will cost around 12 lakhs to complete a 4-year degree.

BIT Patna definitely stands as a better choice if placements are your goal and there are no financial constraints. Choose wisely as you would be dedicating your precious 4 years of your life that will decide your career.

There is a separate Internet section consisting of a number of networked terminals for providing access to online journals, online databases, and other online reference resources to the faculty, students, and staff. The library is fully automated and uses a library software called “LIBSYS’.
Computer Lab: The computer lab is well-equipped for the students to have hands-on learning of what they have been taught in class so as to implement it. The computer lab also enables the students to undertake research activities in the institute and enhance their computer skills.
Health Centre: The college also provides the students with a dispensary where resident medical doctors visit regularly. They also have a small medical store.

What Students Say?

The exam structure is excellent since it is organized by BIT Mesra, and the questions may come from any of the faculties created by its various campuses.
Multinational companies, as well as Indian companies like Wipro, Amazon, Flipkart, etc., have come with a good stipend.
Alumni also help the college as they refer their company heads to visit the campus, as there are always bright talents in the college.
There is a scholarship program called the GP Birla Scholarship, which provides scholarships to students with good grades.
A good infrastructure, as it has all the facilities that one college/university should have.
In the first year, the hostel is compulsory, and afterwards, it is hard to leave your hostel because the administration doesnt allow you to leave the hostel unless you have a very good reason.
As already mentioned, college life was awesome during our time. We lived our college days to the fullest in all aspects.

Dislike

The course curriculum for CSE seems a bit outdated, but it is still tough enough to deal with.
Even for going to the market, there is a time restriction of 4 hours, so you cant even plan to watch a movie peacefully.
Placement mainly for the core branch is very, very poor, and the interaction between teacher and student is also poor.
