MRSPTU B.Tech Electrical Engineering: Fees 2025, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

Bachelor of Technology specialization in Electrical Engineering is a 4 years degree course. The eligibility of admission in this course is 10+2 pass or equivalent from a recognized board or university. Electrical engineering is one of the most sought after branches of engineering. Admission to this course is done through either entrance exams conducted at national and state level or on merit based on qualifying exam. If the seats of B.Tech. (Biotech.) remain vacant after the central counselling the seats may be filled with the candidates having the following qualification also:

10+2 with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Mathematics, Bio-Technology, Computer Science, Biology.

Or

Passed Three Year Diploma in any Engineering Trade from Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training, Chandigarh or from SLIET Longowal or any such examination from any other recognized State Board of Technical Education. Or Passed 2-Yr Certificate Course from SLIET.
