International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Ranchi recently released its 2021 Placement statistics. Amid this pandemic situation the students managed to bag the highest CTC of INR 20 LPA.

The participating recruiters made a total of 84 placement offers & successfully placed 54 students during the placement drive. A total of 21 students got 2 placement offers & 9 students got 3 placement offers each.

During IIIT Ranchi Placements 2021, the participating 2017-2021 batch comprised a total of 103 students. Among those students 94 students were considered eligible to participate in the placement process. A total of 54 students got placed.

The participating companies made 84 placement offers during the placement drive. Among which 34 students got placed from CSE & 20 students got placed from ECE this year. 21 students got 2 placement offers each & 9 students got 3 placement offers each during the placement drive of 2021.

The highest CTC of INR 20 LPA & average CTC of INR 7.2 LPA was offered to the students during the placement drive of 2021.

From talking to students of IIIT Pune, I have come to the conclusion that there can be two possibilities to this question. Let me discuss both of them which might give you a clear idea.

Companies may conduct the recruitment process separately for which a separate placement cell may be formed. The decision to recruit from IIIT Ranchi will be of the companies that come for the placement drive.
IIIT Ranchi students may be allowed to sit in NIT Jamshedpur placements but with certain restrictions like an exception from sitting for getting placed in big companies that visit the campus such as Amazon and Microsoft. This type of policy is usually adopted by mentor institutions.

In the year 2020, the first batch of IIIT Ranchi got placed and here are the highlights:
